South Lampung regency as one of the gates of Sumatra Island became one of the many tourist destinations in Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra. The existence of tourism activities in South Lampung District economic impacts for the community, such as increasing public income, increased employment and business opportunities for local communities. The purpose of this research is to measure the economic impact of tourism activities in South Lampung Regency. In analyzing the economic impacts of tourism activities in South Lampung District using Keynesian Income Multiplier and multiplier analysis to see the direct impact, indirect impacts, and further impacts. Based on the results of the analysis shows that the presence of tourism activities in South Lampung Regency has had an economic impact on the local economy even though the perceived impact is still small. As evidenced by the value of Keynesian Income Multiplier is 1.95, value ratio Income Multiplier of Type I 1.09, and value ratio Income Multiplier of Type II 1.34.
Authenticity and commodification of culture still being a major issue in cultural tourism development. Some people consider that the changing of culture become tourist attractions will cause the loss of culture's authenticity through modification. Many scholars say that cultures that are performed as tourist attraction will lost its originality to adjust the tourist demand. Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a cultural tourism destination is viewed one of the cultural tourism destination which is considered by many experts and scholars that are modify their culture to fulfill the tourist's desire. In fact, The Puri is never change the originality and authenticity of its cultures they have. They may be modify their cultures to performed as a tourist attraction but in the other side they still preserve the original one. They created the other version of the cultures or created a new one to showed to the tourists. What Puri Anyar Kerambitan can be a model to other puri/palace how to maintain their culture authenticity without sacrifice their original cultures.This research used a qualitative data analysis where interview was conducted to find out the perception of the respondent related to the authenticity and commodification of culture at Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a royal tourism destination in Bali, Indonesia.The aim of this research are to find out how Puri Anyar Kerambitan as a royal tourism destination stay keep their culture authenticity and what kind of modification that a palace can do without sacrifice their culture authenticity.
Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park is known with its prehistoric caves that is admitted as the eldest prehistoric caves in the world and base on the research its came from 40,000 thousand years ago. There are more than hundreds prehistoric caves in this national park. But the fact is not many people know that potential and uniqueness. People only know that area with its beautiful landscape and the place where the tourists can find the adventurous activities like rock climbing and caving. The prehistoric caves only like a dead museum without interpretation and no tourism development is conducted to attract visitors. As a cultural treasure, the prehistoric caves are not develop yet as an archaeological tourism and regarding on its potential it needs immediate development to preserve it and integrated to the tourism development that already there. The lack of coordination and cooperation between national park and heritage preservation board is the main problem why this potential attraction is not developed yet. Qualitative data analysis and interview was conducted to visitors and local communities to find out their activities in national park areas. The aim of this research is how to integrate the archaeological as tourist attraction into geotourism as main activities in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park.
