This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the average test result score as a reflection of the effectiveness of audio visual media and image media. This is based on learning outcomes that are considered less than optimal and many are still incomplete because teachers are accustomed to the use of image media in learning. The selection of audio-visual media as a way of teaching data presentation material is because it has better features than just ordinary images. This study determined the subject, namely the fifth grade students at one of the private elementary schools in Surabaya which had 34 students. The results of this study presented an average of learning outcomes in a class using audio visual media was 87.68. In another class, the average result of student learning in the class using image media obtained an average result of 79.59. The conclusion from these results is that the class that uses audio-visual media is more effective than the class that uses image media.
ABSTRAKPenelitian mengkaji hubungan antara faktor sosial ekonomi, preferensi, dan perbandingan perilaku konsumsi susu cair antara masyarakat perkotaan dan pedesaan. Responden penelitian adalah ibu rumah tangga atau anggota keluarga dewasa yang bertanggung jawab atas belanja pangan rumah tangga. Variabel-variabel sosial ekonomi seperti pendapatan, tingkat pendidikan, dan ukuran keluarga secara signifikan berkorelasi dengan perilaku konsumsi susu cair. Karakteristik produk dan atribut produk secara signikan berkorelasi dengan perilaku konsumsi susu cair. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan pada perilaku konsumsi susu cair antara masyarakat perkotaan dan pedesaan. Makalah ini menggaris bawahi bahwa produsen susu hendaknya menjaga kontinyuitas dan kualitas produknya. Pemerintah hendaknya meningkatkan peran mereka dalam mekanisme pengontrolan dan pengawasan kualitas susu cair dan memberikan jaminan dalam stabilitas harga dan pemerataan distribusi di wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan.Kata kunci: Susu, Perilaku Konsumsi, Perkotaan, Pedesaan. FLUID MILK CONSUMPTION BEHAVIOR OF URBAN AND RURAL COMMUNITIES ABSTRACTThe relationship between socio-economic factors, preference, and comparison of fluid milk consumption behavior between urban and rural consumers were explored in this study. The respondents were housewives or adult family member who responsible for food shopping. Socio-economic variables namely income, education level and family size found significantly have relationship with fluid milk consumption behavior. Product characteristics and attributes found significantly correlated with fluid milk consumption behavior. This research found highly significant difference (p<0.01) of fluid milk consumption behavior between urban and rural respondents. This paper underlined that fluid milk producers should maintain the continuity and quality of their products. The government should improve their role in the mechanism of controlling and supervising the quality of fluid milk and give guarantee in the stability of price and equal distribution in all urban and rural areas. ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengembangan sapi perah berbasis potensi sumberdaya lokal untuk peningkatan produksi dan kualitas susu di Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara survai. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling, diambil 2 Kabupaten, yaitu Kabupaten Boyolali dan Semarang. Setiap kabupaten dipilih 2 kecamatan sebagai sampel berdasarkan jumlah populasi sapi perah terbanyak. Masing-masing kecamatan diambil 3 kelompok tani ternak (KTT) sehingga secara keseluruhan ada 6 KTT setiap kabupaten. Sampel peternak sapi perah ditentukan secara acak sederhana, sebanyak 10 peternak setiap KTT, sehingga secara keseluruhan ada 120 peternak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif, analisis location quotient (LQ) dan analisis statistik model regresi linier berganda. Sebagai variabel dependen produktivitas susu dan kualitas susu (Y1,2) dan variabel independen terdiri dari sumberdaya manusia (x1), sumberdaya lingkungan (x2), sumberdaya modal (x3), sumberdaya kewirausahaan (x4), sumberdaya teknologi (x5), sumberdaya kelembagaan (x6) dan sumberdaya infrastruktur (x7). Hasil analisis LQ populasi sapi perah, ketersediaan pakan hijauan dan limbah pertanian serta penyerapan tenaga kerja sangat potensial (LQ>1). Faktor sumberdaya lokal secara bersama-sama sangat nyata (P<0,01) berpengaruh terhadap produksi dan kualitas susu sapi perah. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan usaha sapi perah perlu memperhatikan potensi sumberdaya lokal agar dicapai peningkatan produksi dan kualitas susu.Kata kunci : kualitas susu, produksi susu, sapi perah, sumberdaya lokal ABSTRACTThe objectives of this research were to analyze the local resource-based development of dairy cattle in order to improve the production and quality of milk in Central Java. The research was carried out by survey method. The research locations (Boyolali and Semarang) were chosen using purposive sampling method. In each regency was determined 2 sub district locations in which having the largest dairy cow population and 3 Dairy Cattle Farmer Associations (DCFA) in every sub district. Dairy farmers were sampled randomly, 10 farmers in every DCFA. Therefore, there were 120 dairy cattle farmers for sample. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods, location quotient (LQ) analysis and multiple linear regression statistical model. The dependent variables were yield and quality of milk (Y1,2) and the independent variables were human resources (x1), environmental resources (x2), capital resources (x3), entrepreneurship resources (x4), technology resources (x5), institution resources (x6) and infrastructure resources (x7). The LQ analysis showed that dairy cattle population, availability of forage and agricultural waste, and absorption of labour were very potential (LQ>1). Local resources significantly affected (P<0.01) the production and quality of dairy cattle milk. Abstrak Penelitian ini bermaksud mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan permainan bingo matematik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung operasi pecahan siswa SD. Selain itu penelitian ini akan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar, aktivitas belajar respon siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan permainan bingo matematik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode permainan bingo matematik dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4 SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini berupa data aktivitas siswa yang dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Data respon siswa yang dikumpulkan melalui angket terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode permainan bingo matematik adalah positif. Data hasil belajar siswa menggunakan tes hasil belajar yang menentukan ketuntasan belajar baik individu maupun klasikal Aktivitas rata-rata peserta didik aktif lebih besar dari rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik pasif (66,44% > 52,62%), respon yang ditangkap oleh siswa kelas IV SDN Pakis 5 Surabaya selama proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode permainan bingo matematik adalah positif dan memiliki minat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil perolehan belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Pakis 5 Surabaya selama proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode permainan bingo matematik adalah sebesar 89,18% sehingga secara klasikal dapat dinyatakan tuntas. Abstract This study intends to develop and implement mathematical bingo games to improve numeracy skills of elementary school students fractional operations. In addition, this study will describe the results of study before, after and learning activities of students in the learning of mathematics using mathematical bingo game. The method used in this research is the method of mathematical bingo game with the subjects in this study is the 4th grade students of SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The results obtained from this research is a student activity data were collected using observation sheet student activity indicating that the student is active in the following study . Student response data were collected through questionnaires to learning by using mathematical methods bingo game is positive. Data of student learning outcomes using achievement test that determines whether individual mastery learning and classical Activities average active learners greater than average activity passive learners (66,44% > 52,62%), responses were captured by fourth grade students of SDN Pakis 5 Surabaya during the learning process using mathematical methods bingo game is positive and has an interest in participating in learning. The result of the acquisition of the fourth grade students of SDN Pakis 5 Surabaya during the learning process using mathematical methods bingo games amounted to 89.18 %, so the classical can be declared complete.
ABSTRAKHigh tea consumption in Semarang City and the change of tea consumption pattern from loose leaf tea to tea bags make tea bags have a high prospect to enter the tea market. Producers need to understand consumer preferences in buying tea bags so they can plan, develop, and market their products well. This research aimed to analyze the level of preference and relative importance of tea bags product attributes on household consumers in Semarang City. The research was conducted in West Semarang, South Semarang and Banyumanik Subdistrict representing coastal, lowland, and hills area in Semarang City. Research method was a survey with the samples number of 100 household respondents. Sampling was done using multistage random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using conjoint analysis with 16 combinations of product. Result showed that household consumers' preference for tea bags attribute in Semarang City was jasmine fl avor, the price range IDR 5,000-10,000 per pack, famous brand, box packaging and has clear expiration date. Consumer priority of tea bags attribute was taste, brand, price, packaging, and expiration date.
