This study consisted in characterizing the strategies used by professors; implemented through virtual educational platforms. The context of this research were the classrooms of the Santiago de Cali University and the virtual space of the Chamilo virtual platform, where two professors from the Faculty of Education of the same university participated. The methodological approach of the investigation is qualitative, the observation and the interviews were the procedure to collect the data used. The results obtained and the analyzed literature show that there are different strategies used by professors through the implementation of the Chamilo virtual educational platform as a support to face-to-face classes, leading us to recognize that its utility has different intentions at the moment of being implemented by the professor.

In this article we will discuss, through the explanations given by teachers who teach Mathematics, the importance of using teaching strategies in the implementation of tasks. Teachers who participated in it belong to the group "Observatory Mathematics Education" (OME-Bahia). This study was framed in a qualitative approach and data were collected through observation and an interview. The interview was conducted taking into account the observation produced through videos where the implementation of mathematical tasks was recorded, serving as support different times where teachers used different teaching strategies in order to take them up again at the time of the interviews. The results showed that in the using of each teaching strategy, there is a particular importance that is assumed by the teacher; that means, their intentions are subject to different variables.
This article shows how the integration of native language in EFL classes affect positively the teaching and learning processes of English as a foreign language. The methodology shows a quantitative approach performing different processes and techniques adapted to the requirements of the investigation, data is the result of tests done to two groups of fifteen students in two class at a university, surveys and interviews. There is a theoretical research from authors about the use of native language in EFL classes which makes the investigation very solid. The results show that the integration of students' native language in the learning of English as a foreign language can help them achieve their learning goals.
In this research article an analysis and evaluation of virtual learning spaces is carried out. To address this process, three (3) academic virtual platforms were selected, Moodle, Blackboard and Jimdo. The methodology used was of a descriptive type, applying the synchronous and asynchronous methods of virtual teaching established in each of the Institutions. A description and evaluation of each virtual platform was carried out taking into account four identified criteria: the technical and material design; instructional design; tutorial action and the virtual class. The evaluation using educational platforms generated scenarios of innovation from the social view since it allowed both the teacher and student to rethink the evaluation not only as an instrument but as a transversal process linked to different fields such as: social, cultural, economic, etc.
Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic affected social and sports dynamics worldwide, forcing all sports clubs, leagues and/or federations to reinvent themselves in their training processes to avoid loss of sports performance, adapting their training to the conditions that were held at home with the support of the coaches remotely. The objective of the study was to identify the effects of the pandemic on the sports performance of athletes from the Colombian Triathlon Federation (FCT) during the pre-confinement period and post gradual return to normality. The comparative descriptive methodology, longitudinal in nature, allowed us to identify the average of the results of each of the tests in the Minor categories, Junior, Elite and Sub-23 in women and men in the check-ups scheduled by the FCT during the year 2020 in face-to-face and 2021 remotely; the instruments used were the swimming tests (200, 400 and 800 meters) and the running tests (1000, 1500 and 3000 meters). The results showed that the Covid-19 pandemic affected the sports performance of some categories, while in others there were no significant changes in the average loss of sports performance. In conclusion, the difficulties in accessing the scenarios, the little face-to-face interaction with the coach, and the quality of the technological tools generate deep tensions in the remote training processes from home. Keywords: Triathlon; sports performance; pandemic; confinement; technology.
