Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk “Mengetahui Proses Pembuatan, Motif yang Diterapkan, dan Warna yang Digunakan pada Produk Kerajinan Anyaman Bambu”. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan hanya 5 jenis produk, dari setiap 5 jenis tersebut diambil 2 sampel produk. Sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sebanyak 10 sampel. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah sekitar 1 jutaan produk dari 15 jenis produk yang dihasilkan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembuatan kerajinan anyaman bambu di Sanggar Kreatif “Bunga Matahari” Kelurahan Rambung Barat, Kecamatan Binjai Selatan secara garis besar memiliki 4 tahapan, yaitu penyediaan alat dan bahan, pengolahan bahan baku, proses pengerjaan, dan proses finishing. Motif yang diterapkan pada kerajinan anyaman bambu yaitu motif anyam dasar tunggal (sasaq), motif anyam dasar ganda dua (kepang), dan motif mata hero. Warna yang digunakan pada kerajinan anyaman bambu yakni warna bambu (warna alami dasar), warna merah (warna primer), warna hijau (warna sekunder), kombinasi warna merah dan hijau (warna komplementer), serta warna hitam (warna dihasilkan dari percampuran thinner dan tepung grand).
This study aims to determine the work of flowers made of corn husk on the work of students of class X MS 1 and X SOS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. The limitation of the problem in this study focuses on the work of flowers made of corn leather with the review of the principles of fine arts and crafts . The population in this study were grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kabanajahe, with 352 students divided into 7 classes for X MS and 4 classes for SOS X. In this study the authors took a sample of 1 class for class X MS 1 and X SOS 2 with a total of 32 works using the Clusster Random Sampling technique. The reason is because the number of students is too much so the author limits the sample by comparing the work of students of class X MS 1 with students X SOS 2. In this study the writer will examine the work of flower craft made from corn skin based on the principles of fine arts and crafts. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are the work of students' crafts, documentation and observation. The results showed that the work of corn husk craft in class X SMA N 1 Kabanjahe in terms of the fine arts and craft principles of class X MS 1 students obtained an average number of grades 80.47 categorized well while class X SOS 2 students received an average grade of an average of 78.60 with a good category.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan unsur realis yang terdapat pada patung Dr. I L Nommensen yang ada di taman wisata salib kasih tarutung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data mengenai analisis realis patung dilakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen yang dianalisis berdasarkan unsur realis patung, observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah patung Nommensen yang berada di taman wisata salib kasih desa peatolong kecamatan siatas barita Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa gaya realis patung Nommensen di taman wisata salib kasih tidak sesuai dengan proporsi wajah,tangan, dan kaki. Proporsi patung tidak sesuai dengan 8 kali ukran kepala. Wujud dari patung Dr. I L Nommensen tidak sesuai dengan wujud Nommensen yang sebenarnya. Kata Kunci: patung, realis, nommensen, salib, tarutung.AbstractThis study aims to describe the realist elements found in the statue of Dr. I L Nommensen who is in the crossing tourist park gave tarutung by using a qualitative descriptive research method. To obtain data on the realist analysis of sculptures, data collection using instruments was analyzed based on the realist elements of sculpture, observation, documentation and interviews. The subject of this study was the statue of Nommensen which was in the crossing tourist park of the village of Peatolong, Subdistrict Siatas Barita, North Tapanuli Regency. The results of the study explained that the realist style of Nommensen's statue in the tourist park of the cross of love did not match the proportions of the face, hands, and feets. The proportion of the statue does not correspond to 8 times the head size. The form of the statue of Dr. I L Nommensen did not match Nommensen's true form. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain dan mendeskripsikan prinsip-prinsip kerajinan yang terdapat pada karya kerajinan berbahan serat daun pandan di industri chantika handicraft Medan Sunggal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Jumlah populasi penelitian 156 karya keseluruhan kerajinan berbahan serat daun pandan yang ada pada chantika handicraft Medan Sunggal. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah purposive sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data dengan pertimbangaan tertentu, Dari 5 jenis produk berbahan serat daun pandan, diambil sebanyak 13 sampel karya yang terdiri dari 5 karya tas, 2 karya dompet, 2 karya tempat tisu, 2 karya sandal, 2 karya tempat aksesoris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desain bentuk kerajinan bahan serat daun pandan di industri ini bentuknya masih terkesan sederhana, bentuknya geometris. Motif anyaman yang terdapat pada kerajinan bahan serat daun pandan ini antara lain motif anyaman lancar, sasag ganda dan kepang, serta motif pada kain batik terdapat ornamen khas sumatera utara. Sementara warna yang digunakan masih terkesan kurang variatif, sehingga tampilan tidak terlalu menarik. Untuk penerapan prinsip-prinsip kerajinan pada karya kerajinan berbahan serat daun pandan yang ada pada industri chantika handicraft Berdasarkan hasil nilai rata-rata oleh 3 tim penilai secara keseluruhan karya kerajinan berbahan serat daun pandan yang ada di industri chantika handicraft Medan Sunggal sudah diterapkan dengan baik. Dilihat dari karya yang di kategori sangat baik di presentasi 25% sedangkan untuk kategori baik di presentase 75%. Aspek penerapan prinsip kerajinan yang paling menonjol diantara prinsip lainnya yaitu pada prinsip irama. Prinsip ini mendapat rating penilaian paling baik dari tim penilai dan prinsip yang paling lemah yaitu prinsip keseimbangan dimana pada prinsip ini mendapat rating penilaian terendah dari tim penilaian.Kata Kunci: kerajinan, daun pandan, prinsip kerajinan.AbstractThis study aims to determine the design and describe the principles of crafts contained in handicrafts made from pandanus leaf fibers in the Medan Sunggal handicraft chantika industry. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The total population of the study was 156 works of handicrafts made from pandanus leaf fiber in the Medan Sunggal handicraft chantika. The research sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely the sampling technique for data sources with certain considerations, of the 5 types of products made from pandan leaves, 13 samples were taken consisting of 5 bags, 2 purses, 2 tissue places sandals, 2 accessories holder work. The results of this study indicate that the design of the pandan leaf fiber handicrafts in this industry still seems simple, geometric in shape. The woven motifs found in the pandan leaf fiber craft include smooth woven motifs, double sasag and braids, as well as motifs on batik cloth which have a typical North Sumatra ornament. While the colors used still seem less varied, so the appearance is not too attractive. For the application of craft principles to handicrafts made from pandan leaves in the chantika handicraft industry. Judging from the works in the very good category, the presentation is 25% while for the good category the percentage is 75%. The aspect of applying the principle of craft that stands out the most among other principles is the principle of rhythm. This principle received the best rating rating from the assessment team and the weakest principle, namely the principle of balance, which in this principle received the lowest rating from the assessment team.Keywords: craft, pandan leaves, the principle of craft.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam membuat desain keramik, proses pembuatan keramik, dan finishing keramik dengan teknik pilin pada siswa kelas X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel 3 karya keramik siswa kelas X yang diambil menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kamera sebagai dokumentasi dan lembar pengamatan sebagai penyaring data. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, serta menggunakan lembar penilaian dengan tiga aspek penilaian yaitu desain, motif, dan teknik. Secara keseluruhan karya keramik dengan teknik pilin pada siswa kelas X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari, pada aspek penilaian desain memperoleh nilai rata-rata = 72 (baik), kemudian pada aspek penilaian motif memperoleh nilai rata-rata = 74 (baik), dan trakhir aspek penilaian teknik memperoleh nilai rata-rata = 88 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata karya keramik dengan teknik pilin oleh siswa kelas X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari, dari beberapa aspek penilaian yaitu aspek desain, motif dan teknik maka dapat dikategorikan baik dengan tital nilai 702 dan rata-rata = 78 (baik). jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil karya kerajinan keramik dengan teknik pilin pada siswa kelas X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari telah tergolong baik.Kata Kunci: kerajinan keramik, teknik pilin.AbstractThis study aims to determine the ability of students to make ceramic designs, process making ceramics, and finishing ceramics with a gyre technique in class X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a sample of 3 ceramic works of students of class X taken using a cluster sampling technique. The instrument of this study used the camera as documentation and observation sheet as a data filter. Data collection techniques were carried out using experiments, observation, documentation, and using assessment sheets with three aspects of assessment, namely design, motives, and techniques. Overall, ceramic works using the gyre technique in class X students of Pelayaran Buana Bahari Vocational School, in the aspect of design evaluation obtained an average value of 72 (good), then the aspects of the motive assessment obtained an average value = 74 (good), and final aspects Engineering assessment scores average = 88 (very good). Based on the results of the study it was obtained that the average value of ceramic works with the gyre technique by students of class X of Vocational School of Buana Bahari, from several aspects of assessment, namely aspects of design, motives and techniques can be categorized as good with a score of 702 and average = 78 . so it can be concluded that the work of ceramic crafts with the gyre technique in class X SMK Pelayaran Buana Bahari has been classified as good..
