F a w n konnten wir bisher auffalligerweise nur 3-Kondensat.Zinitaldehyd und pMethoxy-zimtaldehyd bilden iiiit Butanoil sowohl niittels Alkalis als auch mittels Chlorwasserstoffs 3-Methyl-6-phenyl-he=-tlienom(2) und 3-Methyl-6-[p-methoxy-phenyl] -hexadienon-(2). Ekide Stoffe wurden als fast weiDe Kq-stalle vom Schmp. 71-720 bzw. 91-920 erhalten. Die Semicarhazone schmelzen h i 229-2310 bzw. 217-219O, die Phenylhydrazone bei 167-170° hzw. 156-1580.Mischuxigen der niittels Alkalis itnd der mittels Chlorwasserstoffs gewonnenen Kondensate, ihrer Semicarbazone und ihrer Phenylhydrazone zeigen keine Schmelzpunktserniedrip n g , was bereits auf das \:orliegen von 3-Kondensat hinweist, da bei allen hisher untersuchten Aldehyden mittels Chlorwasserstoffs stets 3-Kondensation eintart. Bei der Oxydation der beiden rnittels Alkalis oder Chlorwasserstoffs aus Zimtaldeh yd und Butanon bereiteten Cinnamyliden-butanone 156H a e u f l l e r , B r i c g g e r : Gher die [Jahrg. 77 aus 3-Cincanial-butanon entstanden ; 1-Kondensat ware zur Bildung dieser Saure nicht befahigt. Die untersuchten Cinnanialbutanone und p-Mithodycinnamal-butanone geben Jodoform.nei der nestillation des iiiittels w a l l r i g e r N a t r o n l a u g e hergestellten Kondensats fsllt ein 01 an, das nicht krystallisiert. Miiglicherweisr ist es identisch niit den1 01, das sich bildet, wenn man die gelbr Xasse destilliert, die nach M. Scholz-4) bci d r r Kondensation von Zimtaldehyd und Rutnnon rnittels N a t r i u m a t h y l a t ' s eiitsteht. Dicse gelbe Masse schinilzt unscliarf bei 10s-110" und besitzt die Summenforniel C,,HlPO. Es ist nicht ausgeschlossrn, daW sie tatsachlich dzts 1 -Phenylheptadieii-(1.3) -on-(5), also das 1 -Kondensat...
In Gegenwart von sek. Aminen erfolgt die Kondensation von Butanon mit Aldehyden an der gleichen Stelle des Butanon‐Moleküls wie bei der Kondensation in Gegenwart von Alkali, so daß die früher aufgestellte Regel für den Verlauf der Reaktion unter der letztgenannten Bedingung auf sek. Amine ausgedehnt werden kann.
