~~Ersetzt man Chlorwasserstoff jedoch durch waiBrige Alkalihydroxidosung, so reagie ren aliphatische Aldehyde zu I1 und I11 analogen Gemischen3), waihrend bei (substituierten) Benzaldehyden ledlglich LII entstehen S O~I~)~) . Die letzte Angabe bedarf, wie wir nun fanden, einer Korrektur, indem es auch hier zur konkurrierenden Aldolkondensation kommt. Setzt man niimlich u. a. Benzaldehyd (R=H) mit Butanon (R'=H) und beispielsweise 0,5 proz. Natronlauge urn und schuttelt 3 Tage, so kann man in A b h a w e i t von der Temperatur ein Gemisch von bis zu etwa 2 Teilen I1 auf 10 Teile I11 erhalten.
