This article intended to determine the important elements in commitment, satisfaction and job performance of university lecturers. This study involved 179 respondents from 3 universities located in Batam, Indonesia. The survey instrument had used a 5-point Likert scale to obtain feedback. Overall, the survey had achieved a very high level of reliability for organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance. The data obtained was processed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to examine the structure of commitment, satisfaction, and performance factors. Overall, the instrument, which was the questionnaire, was valid. It was found, based on the EFA, that the three important factors were commitment, satisfaction, and performance. Hence, how could the findings significantly solve the problem statement as well as state the vision and potential of future studies. The Rotated Component Matrix showed the correlation between items and the factors after the Varimax rotation. Factor 1 contained 13 items, Factor 2 contained 12 items, while Factor 3 contained 11 items. It was found that items in Factor 1 could be under the "Commitment Factor", items in Factor 2 could be under the "Performance Factor", while items under factor 3 could be under the "Satisfaction Factor". The outcome of this study could act as a guideline for lecturers to excel in their careers as well as assist institutions to develop effective evaluations.
<p><em>This study was to determine the relationship of job satisfaction and employee performance PT.Aker Solutions Batam. This study uses quantitative analysis linearity test, a test instrument using a questionnaire based on the test scores of responses. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Aker Solutions Batam, 293 people. 100 questionnaires as random sampling with a return of 100%. Descriptive analysis showed an average score of job satisfaction items ranging from 3:53 to 3.87 and overall job satisfaction variables were 3.77. Similarly, the results of descriptive analysis to an average score of employee performance items ranging from 3:48 to 3.87 overall and 3.65 employee performance. Analysis of the linearity is 0.029 and Job satisfaction is 4,883 with a probability of 0.029. While the value of F table 2.48, the F count> F table. Means there is a relationship between job satisfactions. Job satisfaction and employee performance proved the existence of the relationship of the analysis results obtained coefficient P is worth 0.369. To determine the level of significance of the coefficient β, to see the results of the t test showed t count equal to 4,307> t table 1.98 and 2.63.</em></p><p> </p><p>Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan PT.Aker Solutions Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif dengan uji linearitas, uji instrument kuesioner dengan menggunakan uji berdasarkan hasil skor jawaban responden. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Aker Solutions Batam berjumlah 293 orang. 100 kuesioner sebagai sampling random acak dengan kembali 100%. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan skor rata-rata item kepuasan kerja berkisar antara 3.53 hingga 3.87 dan secara keseluruhan variabel kepuasan kerja 3.77 berada pada kategori baik. Demikian pula dengan hasil analisis deskriptif untuk skor rata-rata item kinerja karyawan berkisar antara 3.48 hingga 3.87 dan secara keseluruhan variabel kinerja karyawan 3.65 berada pada kategori baik. Analisis linearitas adalah 0,029 dan F hitung Kepuasan kerja adalah 4,883 dengan probabilitas 0,029. Sedangkan nilai Ftable 2,48 maka F hitung > F table. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan adanya pengaruh Kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan terbukti adanya hubungan yakni dari hasil analisis didapat koefisien P adalah senilai 0,369. Untuk mengetahui tingkat signifikansi koefisien β, dengan melihat hasil uji t yakni menunjukan t hitung sebesar 4,307> t table 1,98 dan 2,63.</p>
The current era is an era of digitization that is all based on technology and information in the hands of only using a smartphone, it can all be done to support business activities. To provide knowledge about this, the activities of devotion to the community are carried out on Students of Package C PKBM Sahabat Cendekia with the aim that they get knowledge about business opportunities in the era of digitalization. Participants in this community service activity as many as 55 participants. This method of community service uses the OMPMMP method (Field Elevation, Reviewing Problems, Preparing implementation stages, carrying out service, evaluating results and making reports and publications). The result of this devotion participants can understand business opportunities in the era of digitization such as understanding about social media audience profiles, insights about market places, active social media platforms, and understanding about the potential of business in the form of soft skills and communication and challenges in doing business in the era of digitization.
Education at the college level is now supposed to get attention, especially related to the students who are in the college environment. The commitment and satisfaction of students who are in college are beneficial to create a college environment as expected. For that, a study needs to be run to investigate the commitment and satisfaction of students in a college environment, especially in the environment of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Galileo Batam. Research is given attention to student commitment and satisfaction. This research is a quantitative study involving 33 respondents from students residing in the environment of STIE Galileo. The research aims to investigate the relationship between commitment and satisfaction. The questionnaire is used to collect research data, then in sports with SPSS statistics. Correlation analysis is performed to ensure the relationship between commitment and satisfaction. The correlation test results showed that the relationship of commitment and satisfaction was positive and significant and the relationship is in a strong category. It is necessary to be noticed, and future research should consider other variables that are not explored in this research, such as motivation, environment, and more significant sample quantities and analysis tools such as; SEM SmartPLS and SEM Amos. In addition, future researchers can revisit from a demographic standpoint.
