The objective of the paper is to find out the strategy of Isalamic education teachers in embedding multicultural values at a senior high school in Palu. The study used a qualitative case study method. Data were gathered through direct observation, un-depth interviews with the school’s teachers, and written material analyses. This study found that the teachers of the school embedded multicultural values through humanistic approach in taching and daily school’s interaction. Students were given tolerance understanding to respect religion and ethnicity differences. The curriculum of the school was also redusugned by integrating multicultural values. Intolerance attitudes were strongy prohibited and stric rules to respect each other were imposed. Islamic education teachers were imposed to teached moderate Islamic teachings which respect multicultural values. Radical Islamic views were prohibited to teach in the school. Muslim and non-Muslim students were treated equally regarding their views and beliefs.
Tulisan ini embahas tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Kota Palu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan study kasus. Sebagaimana tahapnya yaitu pra observasi (permohonan izin untuk meneliti). Metode pengumpulan data interview, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari data primer (secara Langsung) adalah hasil dari field research (penelitian lapangan) yaitu interview Kepala sekolah, Guru kelas, Guru bidang study, Staf administrasi, Peserta didik, Orangtua peserta didik. Dan dari data sekunder (tidak langsung) yaitu literatur lainnya yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosial kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri yaitu selalu menjaga hubungan siraturahmi yang baik pada pihak-pihak sekolah, kepala sekolah memiliki tiga gaya dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu gaya demokratis, yaitu kemampuan mempengaruhi orang lain. Gaya otokratis yaitu, kemampuan mengendalikan dan menentukan, kebijakan. Gaya kharismatik, yaitu kemampuan yang dapat menginspirasi oranglain. Upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu, transparansi terhadap penggunaan dana-dana sekolah. Memotivasi tenaga kependidikan untuk selalu memberikan pelayanan terbaik. Memberikan reword (bonus) kepada pendidik apabila mereka berprestasi dalam membina peserta didik. Mengadakan workshop kepada tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan. Pemanfaatan LMS ( learning, management system ) seperti pembuatan video pembelajaran, aplikasi pembelajaran (classroom. Forum chat, kuis, absensi).
This thesis examines the Implementation of Pluralist Education at SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu. The school opens for learning opportunities for every student across religions, ethnicities, races and cultures. This school aims to educate all children of the nation, both Muslim and non-Muslim. The research used qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The data were collected through various instruments: observation, interviews and documentation. The sample are a non-Muslim Educator, seven Muslim educators, two Muslim students and six non-Muslim students. Based on the category, all samples played an active role in the application of pluralist education at Al-Azhar Mandiri Junior High School. This study found that pluralist education had been carried out since 1992, with a reference to the school motto of Smart and Moral. It motivates students to be smart but not being arrogant. Non-Muslim students remain in class when Islamic studies take place, and the teacher does not object. The application of Pluralist Education to the students is carried out in the form of growing tasamuh attitude (tolerance), building cooperation in group study and constructing a non-discriminative action based on SARA as well as mutual respect between fellow students.
The practice of batatamba is one of the cultural heritages of urang Banjar in South Kalimantan which they still done by some local people to get healthy, both physically and spiritually. This is because since ancient times, physical and spiritual health is something very valuable and very expensive because it has immeasurable value for the perfection of one's life and life. For example, in Antasan Senor Village, Martapura, Banjar Regency there is Tuan Guru Syairozi. To Guru Syairozi, every day many people line up asking for help for various diseases, especially chronic diseases that are difficult to cure, or diseases that are considered as the actions of others, a type of witchcraft. The focus of this research is to determine the batatamba banyu procession by Guru Syairozi and the sufistic dimension of the batatamba banyu practice. The object of his research was the house of Guru Syairozi, Antasan Senor Village, Banjar Regency, Martapura, South Kalimantan Province, using interviews, observation and documentaries. The finding of this research is that the batatamba banyu practice was originally practiced by Guru Syairozi's father himself (KH. Marhasani). Then in 1998, his father passed away to the grace of Allah (died). After forty days after the death of his father, the batatamba banyu practice was continued by him. Until now, Guru Syairozi has been practicing this batatamba banyu practice for about twenty-three years. Healing Guru Syairozi uses the Sufi healing method which views al-maqâmât in Sufism as a basic concept for healing various diseases, especially mental and can also be used as a source of healing for physical ailments. The concept of al-maqâmât which he used to advise the people being treated were repentance, patience, tawakkal, qana'ah, wara ', zuhud and pleasure.
This study was conducted in al-istiqamah ngatabaru modern islamic boarding school with sample of 50 students. Data were gathered through observation and questionnaires. The data were analysed using descriptive analysis approach. The results showed that the parenting style applied by each parents of students in general can be said to be quite democratic, but none of the parents of students who apply pure democratic parenting. Under certain circumstances, parents are authoritarian and in another circumstances parents are permissive. Based on the significant value of the Coefficients table, the significance value of 0,000 <0,05, then based on the known value of , while the Ttable value at the error level 5% = 2.011, thus the statement can be written that, tcount> (18.254 <2.011 ), the degree of the influence of single parent parenting style on social emotional behavior women student of al-istiqamah ngatabaru modern islamic boarding school also can be known through the magnitude of coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.871 or 87.1%. This means that 12.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. so it can be concluded that single parent parenting style (X) parenting variable influential to emotional social development variable (Y), the result is significant hypothesis that there is positive influence between parenting parent single parent to emotional social development santriwati pondok pesantren modern Al-istiqamah Ngatabaru.
