Es wird tiber neue Messungen des Bandenspektrums des N+-Mo]ekiils berichtet. Die Banden wurden in einem Hohlkathodenrohr (Spannung 1000 bis 1500 Volt) erregt. Sie sind grSl~tenteils nach Violett absehattiert; die mit h5heren Oszillationsquantenzahlen sind jedoeh nach Rot absehattiert, wahrend in einem Falle eine Zwischenstufe (symmetrisehe Bande ohne Kante)beobachtet wurde. Die X-Dublettlinien konnten nach der Spineinstellung des Leuehtelektrons klassifiziert werden. Eine neue Nullinienformel wird attfgestell t. Es werden weiter die StSrungen in den Anfangszust~inden v ~ 1 und 3 untersueht. Sie sind vom selben Typus wie die yon It t m a n untersuchten St5rungen in den C N-Banden 9 (StSrung eines ~Z-Terms durch einen ~/7-Term).]Jber die negativen Stickstoffbanden, die bekanntlieh dem N +-Molekfil zugeschrieben werden miissen, sind schon mehrere Arbeiten verSffentlicht wordenl).Eine grol~e experimentelle Schwierigkeit bei der Erzeugung dieser Banden besteht darin, dal~ die st~rksten Banden des normalen Stickstoffmolekfils (sogenannte zweite positive ~ruppe) etwa im selben Spektralgebiet liegen. Bei Benutzung eines wassergekfihlten Hohlkathodenrohres, das mit hoher Spannung (etwa 1000 bis 1500 Volt) betrieben wurde, sind die N2+-Banden aber weitaus die st~rksten. Dies hat uns veranlal~t, mit einem solehen Rohr noeh einmal eine Durehmusterung dieser Banden vorzunehmen, zumal da einige Fragen, vor allem fiber die in diesen Banden auftretenden StSrungen, noch nicht gekl~rt waren.Die Banden wurden meistens in der zweiten Ordnung des grol~en Konkavgitters des Jns'tituts in einer Paschenaufstellung aufgenommen. Da die zweite Ordnung sehon etwa Zehnmal schw~eher als die erste 0rdnung ist und die Banden .4 v ~ 2, in 4enen die st5rung am leiehtesten nachzuweisen ist, ziemlich sehwach sin4, war eine sehr grol~e Expositionszeit (bis 75 Stunden) erforderlieh. Es war deshalb nStig, die Temperatur des Oitters sehr konstant zu haltenl Glficklieherweise ist die s im Kellergesehol~ des Instituts daffir sehr gfinstig. Der Gitterraum wird 1) hi.
