Poncet und Th~venot haben die in den letzten 5 Jahren in Frankreich and im Auslande pablizierten Fglle yon Aktinomykose zusammengestellt and kommen zu dem Resultat, da$ diese Krankheit in allen Lgndern, vielleicht rait Ausnahme der Schweiz, we sic seltener ist gleieh stark verbreite~ ist. Seit 1898 wurden in Frankreich 86, in Deutschland 101, Amerika 102, Rul31and 189, 0sferreieh 79, in der Schweiz 5 Fglle verSffentlicht etc. Die Aktinomykose ist auf dem Lande h~ufiger als in der Stadt~ ferner h~ufiger in Landstrichen, wo vim CereMien gepflanzt werden. September 1903.Lyon and Wherry beobachteten bei einem Chinesen, der sich robes Morphium tells gel6st tells ungelSst in ziemlich roher Weise (nicht selten 5 Injektionen aui dieselbe Stelle) sdbst eingespritzt hatte, eine besonders auf die Brust, Oberschenkel und Arme beschr~nkte Dermatitis mit ausgebreiteter Krusten and Geschwfirsbildung. Bemerkenswert ist der Befund im Eiter etc. eines dem Gonococcus sehr ghnlichen, viMleicht mit R. P fei ff e r s Micrococcus eatarrhMis identisehem Diplocoecus, tiber dessen bakteriologisches VerhMten eingebend berichtet wird. Ahnliche F~lle sollen im 0s~en (Philippinen) nicht seltea sein, doch konnten die Autoren nur einen einzigen weiteren Fall finden.H. G. Klotz (New-York). Andrschejewsky, Iw. Bei R6ntgen-Strahlen muB man nach B e c k ebenso wie bei Jodoform mit individueller Idiosynkrasie reehnen, obgleich nat~rlich eine R5ntgenoDermatitis bei jedem zu erzeugen sei. Die einzige M6gllehkeit die Toleranz des Indivlduums zu erkennen, besteht in vorsichtigen Exposltionen. Eine ganze Reihe yon Umst~nden beeinflu~ die Reak~ion: lange Exposition, kurzer R6hrenabstand, starke Apparate, A|lgemeinbefinden des Kranken und schw~les Wetter. Weizhe R6hren erfordern lange Expositionszeit, sind abet wegen der feineren Details des Bildes nStig. Aber selbst bei Becken-Aufnahmen werden h6chstens 10 Minuten mit dem Wehnelt-Unterbrecher gebraueh eine Zeitdauer, die jeder ertr~gt. Be1 wiederholten Sitzungen sind lange Intervalle zu empfehlen. Der ,Chromoradiometer" yon Ho|zknecht (beruht auf F~rbung versehiet dener Salze durch die Strah|en) ist ffir die exakte Dosierung auch nlch-maBgebend. Sehutzschilde stSren racist die Aufnahme. Bei der Behandlung gutartlger Erkrankungen wird kurze Expositionszeit empfohlen ohne Risiko und eino weiche Tube mit gerade noch so starkem Strom, dab die Handknoehen ohne Struktur-Details sieh dunkel yon den Weichteilen abheben, nach elner Woehe 10 Minuten Exposition. Wenn nach einer dritten Sitzung naeh demselben Intervalle keine Reaktion erfolgt ist, kann man jeden zweiten oder dritten Tag bis zu 15 Minuten exponleren, w~hrend der Probezeit in mindestens 4 Zoll Ento fernung. Bei der Behandlung maligner Tumoren darf weder ein Sehutzschild, noeh irgend welehe Abschw~chung der Strahlen unternommen werden. In einem Fall yon Lid-Epitheliom war die R6hre nur 1/2 Zoll veto KSrper enffernt. Hier besser zu viel als zu wenig, wenn man alle Karcinom-Zellen crreichen will. 10"
