Artigos mostram que a participação do público feminino nos cursos superiores e no mercado coorporativo na área de Computação vem diminuindo com o passar do tempo. Porém, no curso Técnico em Informática Integrado ao Ensino Médio do Instituto Federal de São Paulo, campus Hortolândia, notou-se maioria de estudantes do sexo feminino, o que motivou esta pesquisa. Este artigo faz uma análise das notas das alunas nas disciplinas práticas em relação ao núcleo de formação geral uma vez que a maioria das alunas disseram não ter interesse no curso ou na área do curso e avalia a diferença de desempenho entre as disciplinas e a área escolhida para o curso superior.
Este artigo apresenta o grupo de pesquisa ‘Mobilidade e Novas Tecnologias de Interação’ do Instituto Federal de São Paulo câmpus Hortolândia que explora o potencial das diferentes modalidades de interação e mobilidade dos dispositivos computacionais, em especial, os móveis, em diferentes contextos de aplicação. Os principais projetos envolvem a investigação das modalidades, individualmente e conjuntamente, dos problemas ocasionados pela mudança de modalidade e na construção de software explorando os dispositivos disponíveis no laboratório considerando a usabilidade da aplicação.
