Potensi serat sabut kelapa perlu diteliti untuk dibuat komposit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh fraksi volume serat sabut kelapa terhadap sifat tarik, sifat bending dan ketangguhan impak komposit dengan matrik polyester, katalis MEKPO, dan NaOH. Serat sabut kelapa yang digunakan ber diameter 0.2 mm. Komposit dibuat dengan metode cetak tekan pada fraksi volume 20-35%. Pengujian sesuai standar ASTM D638 (uji tarik), ASTM D790 (uji bending) dan ASTM D5941 (uji impak) dengan metode impak izot. Pengamatan foto makro untuk menganalisis kegagalan. Kekuatan tarik dan regangan tarik semakin meningkat dengan peningkatan fraksi volume. Modulus elastisitas tertinggi pada Vf 31,4% sebesar 0,206 GPa dan menjadi 0,11 GPa pada Vf 34,88% dengan kekuatan tarik 17,48 MPa, regangan 16.64%. Kekuatan bending meningkat dengan penambahan fraksi volume. Peningkatan kekuatan bending tertinggi (tanpa perlakuan alkali) pada fraksi volume 33,7% sebesar 34.17 MPa dan modulus bending sebesar 2.10 GPa. Peningkatan fraksi volume serat sabut kelapa dapat meningkatkan ketangguhan impak, dengan nilai tertinggi sebesar 26,42 kJ/m2 pada fraksi volume 35,84%. Penampang patah pada pengujian tarik didominasi patahan tunggal sedangkan pada pengujian bending dan impak terjadi patahan banyak serta terjadi fiber pull-out
This study aims to program basic Arduino UNO. First, we create an Arduino simulation circuit to turn on the Light Emitting Diode (LED) in the Proteus software. The main problem of Padamulya Village is the lack of a technology utilization system in the field of fisheries. Fish farming systems still use conventional, so that monitoring of fish quality is limited in time and place. The main purpose of this service is to provide knowledge to the community related to smart agriculture technology in the fisheries sector in Padamulya Village to increase quality fish production. The training activity was held on December 10, 2019 in the Hall of the Muhammadiyah University of Tasikmalaya. The results of this service show that the community is starting to have knowledge and provide land to make ponds with smart agriculture technology.
The main problem in the manufacturing process in vocational schools is the limited number of manufacturing machines for the practical process because the equipment is very expensive. Therefore, the main objective of this activity is to provide training on manufacturing processes both theoretically and experimentally to vocational high school students in Tasikmalaya City. The results of this activity indicate that vocational high school students gain experience and knowledge in operating manufacturing machinery from start to finish.
The purpose of this research for analyze composite material reinforced tesk wood powder and brass powder and epoxy resin matriks as brake pads material. The mix of composite brake pads divided into three kinds are Spesimen A, Spesimen B, Spesimen C, with different material composition next made to be mixing process, compacting, and sintering. This testing done with way test violence through Brinell method, test of wear rate use tool of Ogoshi high speed universal wear testing machine produce data of highest violence composite owned by Spsesimen A with score 10 HBN and highest wear rate owned by Spesimen C with score 0.0004 Kg/mm2. Composite material teak wood powder and brass powder and epoxy resin matriks have character of mechanics if composite have score of big violence so wear rate will more low and otherwise if composite have score of little violence so the wear rate will more high.
Proses pemarutan kelapa tenaga yang relatif besar dan kemampuan khusus agar hasilnya baik dan tangan tidak terluka. Untuk mempermudah pemarutan dan menjaga higienitas serta meningkatkan kapasitas pemarutan pada rumah tangga dan industri kecil sudah di buat alat bantu atau mesin parut kelapa banyak mesin parut kelapa di rancang atau di buat dengan berbagai model dan harganya barvariasi. Salah satu rancangan atau desain yang beredar dipasar adalah mesin parut yang menggunakan mesin motor dengan bahan bakar bensin. Mesin ini dirancang sedemikian rupa untuk meningkatkan keselamatan bagi pemakai, mempercepat proses pemarutan kelapa, meningkatkan kapasitas, serta menjaga higienitas dari kelapa parut. Tetapi alat mesin parut kelapa skala rumah tangga dan industri kecil masih relatif mahal. Pada perancangan ini dibuat alat dengan redesain mesin parut kelapa mini untuk mengurangi biaya material dan biaya manufaktur. Melakukan perubahan denga bentuk dan dimensi untuk kerangka dan penyangga. Disamping itu juga perubahan pada komponen mesin dengan motor listrik skala rumah tangga dengan daya 220 volt.Kata kunci: daya, desain, industry, mesin, motor listrik
A composite material is a material that is a mixture of two or more macroscopically mixed materials, so the properties of its forming material are still clearly visible. In this study, the type of fiber used was the natural fiber of mendong. This mendong fiber is made into a composite material using the Hand Lay-up method with four variations in fiber volume, namely (30%, 40%, 50%, and 60%). The fiber binding material (matrix) used is Epoxy. This study aims to determine the characteristics of jack fibers in jack fiber composite materials with an epoxy matrix against tensile strength and modulus etalciticity. Tensile testing refers to the ASTM D 638 Standard. To find out the type of fault from the tensile test results, macro photos are used and find out the shape of the fault and the failure pattern that occurs in composite specimens. From the test results, it is clear that the difference in the composite material of mendong fiber using Epoxy, that with a fiber volume fraction of 60% greater mechanical properties
The main objective of this work is to provide training to build smart phone-based smart robots with voice control to teachers at Senior High Schools, Tasikmalaya City, Indonesia. This robot consists of various electronic components such as Arduino, IC L293D, Bluetooth Module HC05, dynamo, gear box and battery. In addition, we have used several software to build intelligent robots such as Arduino software for uploading a command and AMR voice application for controlling via voice commands. The results showed that the teachers had succeeded in making robots with voice control for forward and backward commands with the help of the AMR voice application. In addition, the results of this training are expected to increase the creativity of teachers in the learning process and as teaching materials to create an active and collaborative class.
