Learning mathematics can develop students' thinking patterns in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to solve geometry problems based on independent and field dependent cognitive styles in fifth grade students of SD Karangbesuki 2 Malang. The research subjects consisted of 2 students with independent field cognitive styles and 2 students with field dependent cognitive styles. Based on the results of the study, students who have independent field cognitive style in this study are able to solve geometry problems based on Polya's steps, namely (1) able to find aspects that are known and asked, (2) able to draw up problem solving strategy relevant to what was asked, (3) able to solve the problem correctly, and (4) able to draw conclusions from the answers. Whereas students who have a field dependent cognitive style experience difficulties, namely (1) not including complete information, (2) being less able to prepare a completion plan, (3) the results of the answers are less precise, (4) not doing a look back step.
Soal berbasis HOTS sangat penting bagi pola berpikir siswa. Soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS perlu dikenalkan kepada siswa sedini mungkin agar siswa dapat melatih kemampuannya dalam memecahkan masalah yang cukup rumit. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa, salah satunya dengan pemberian evaluasi yang berbasis HOTS. Namun pada kenyataannya guru mengalami kesulitan untuk menerepakannya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari informasi terkait kesulitan guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS pada pembelajaran matematika yang meliputi (1) pemahaman guru terkait karakteristik soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS; (2) kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS; (3) faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS; (4) upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci dalam pengumpulan data. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Peneliti menjelaskan terkait kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS yang meliputi guru kesulitan dalam mengatasi kemampuan siswa yang berbeda-beda, guru kurang bisa membagi waktu, guru kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan indikator, dan guru kesulitan dalam menyampaikan stimulus.
Covid-19 has made the education order change. One form of change is the learning system that was originally done faceto-face, now it has turned into a network. Various actions have been taken in order to reduce the number of citizens who are indicated by Covid-19, including learning from home. This study aims to provide an overview of the creativity of junior high school teachers in developing learning during the Covid-19 period. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection technique is done using a questionnaire / questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage technique. The results showed that most junior high school teachers have used certain applications in carrying out online learning, namely WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Their creativity lies in the content of these media as well as the way teachers package learning by utilizing these media or applications.
Learning media is a tool used by teachers to deliver material to students. Based on the results of the interview, it was found that the teacher had not used the media. So that when the observations showed that students were still confused about the material properties and volumes of shapes. This research develops interactive multimedia based on android. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive multimedia that is valid according to media experts, material experts and practical according to users. This study uses the ADDIE model. The result of the development is in the form of interactive multimedia products that are used in building materials. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Glanggang. Based on the assessment instrument from 2 media experts, an average percentage of 94.98 percent was obtained, from 2 material experts obtained a percentage of 89.29 percent, from the trial to the teacher the percentage was 96.05 percent, and the student user trial obtained a percentage of 95.44 percent. Based on the percentage of assessments from experts and the test results show that interactive multimedia is categorized as very valid and very practical so that it can be used in learning activities. Abstrak: Media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwa guru belum menggunakan media. Sehingga saat observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih kebingungan tentang materi sifat dan volume bangun ruang. Penelitian ini mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang berbasis android. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif yang valid menurut ahli media, ahli materi serta praktis menurut pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil pengembangan berupa produk multimedia interaktif yang digunakan pada materi bangun ruang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 2 Glanggang. Berdasarkan instrumen penilaian dari 2 orang ahli media diperoleh rata-rata persentase 94,98 persen, dari 2 orang ahli materi diperoleh persentase 89,29 persen, dari uji coba kepada guru diperoleh persentase 96,05 persen, dan uji coba pengguna siswa diperoleh persentase 95,44 persen. Berdasarkan persentase penilaian dari para ahli dan hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif dikategorikan sangat valid dan sangat praktis sehingga dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
