AbstractThis article, an integral part of the doctoral thesis defended in 2016, recovers some of the problematizations that have been organized around the discussions about democratic management and school evaluation from an emancipatory perspective. The movement presented here revolves around listening to managers and pedagogues on the subject. The reflections bring important clues to understand the point of intersection between these two concepts materialized in the school context in their daily life.
