Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de comunicación terapéutica del profesional de enfermería desde la perspectiva de las personas hospitalizadas en el servicio de medicina del Hospital General Jaén, Perú.Material y método: Estudio cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo; observacional, prospectivo, transversal, análisis estadístico univariado, muestra constituida por 122 personas hospitalizadas, se utilizó como instrumento el “Cuestionario de la comunicación terapéutica” elaborado por Lourdes Guevara Chuquillanqui, con validez por juicio de expertos fue VC = 2.2 > VT = 1.6449 y una confiabilidad de 0.92.Resultados: El 100% (122) de las personas hospitalizadas; 71.3% (87) percibió una comunicación terapéutica de nivel bajo y el 28.7% (35) nivel medio. Según las dimensiones: en empatía el 70.5% (86) percibió una comunicación terapéutica de nivel bajo, el 27% (33) nivel medio y 2.5% (3) nivel alto, en la dimensión respeto el 54.9% (67) percibió una comunicación terapéutica un nivel bajo, el 42.6% (52) un nivel medio y el 2.5% (3) nivel alto, en la dimensión escucha receptiva el 54.9% (67) percibió una comunicación terapéutica de nivel bajo y el 45.1% (55) nivel medio, en la dimensión emociones del paciente el 57.4% (70) percibió una comunicación terapéutica de nivel bajo, el 34.4% (42) nivel medio y el 8.2% (10) nivel alto, en la dimensión acompañamiento en su reflexión el 68% (83) percibió una comunicación terapéutica de nivel bajo, el 68% (83) nivel bajo, el 25.4% (31) nivel medio y 6.6% (8) nivel alto. Conclusiones: La percepción de comunicación terapéutica de las personas hospitalizadas fue de nivel bajo a medio. Conclusions: In conclusion the perception of therapeutic communication of persons hospitalized was of low to medium level. Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, cuyo objetivo fue describir las expectativas y actitudes frente al COVID-19, de los estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza (UNTRM) Amazonas – Perú. Se aplicó el instrumento de manera virtual a 182 estudiantes, empleándose la estadística descriptiva y regresión logística binaria. Resultados: De enfermar sólo el 29,1% se atendería en un hospital; el 94,0% sí se aplicaría la vacuna. El 78,0% se siente preparado psicológicamente para desempeñarse en la profesión y el 90,1% está dispuesto a atender pacientes, pese a no tener buenas condiciones laborales. Referente a las expectativas, el 56,6% considera que este virus llegó para quedarse; el 89,6% se desempeñaría en el área asistencial, aunque el 20,9% considera que su expectativa frente al post COVID-19 es incierta, insegura, desalentadora; la probabilidad de una expectativa laboral buena es aproximadamente 4 veces más, por lo que el 98,9% desea seguir estudiando Enfermería.
This article presents the experience of a community public health practicum in the Amazon region of Peru. The intervention model is based on the social determinants of health within a participatory approach illustrating the impact of the practicum on the students and on the families and communities. This experience can be instructive for developing countries that do not have an established infrastructure to ensure healthcare within their communities; in these countries, students can help to improve health by empowering families and communities. This paper describes the experience of two students who participated in the community practicum providing healthcare to families and communities.
La presente investigación cuali-cuantitativa, descriptiva de corte transversal tuvo como objetivos: determinar la dimensión psicológica de los estilos de vida y comprender el fenómeno de sentirse bien consigo mismos y con la vida que tiene actualmente de las personas adultas mayores de la comunidad “16 de octubre”. Chachapoyas, cuya población estuvo conformada por 25 adultos mayores que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y a quienes se les aplicó el formulario modificado tipo Escala de Likert sobre estilos de vida en su dimensión psicológica y una entrevista a profundidad. Entre los resultados cuantitativos se encontró que el 72.00% de los adultos mayores tienen su dimensión psicológica saludable, en comparación con el 28.00% que es no saludable. En el análisis cualitativo encontramos las siguientes categorías: “Dios les da la vida”; “agradecen a Dios, por los esposos y los hijos buenos”; “Dios quiere tenerlos así” y “preparados para ir a Dios cuando Él lo decida”. Concluyéndose que las personas adultas mayores de la comunidad “16 de octubre” tienen estilos de vida saludables en la dimensión psicológica, aunque están “a veces con sentimientos encontrados, sin embargo, Dios es principio y fin en sus vidas”.
