Tomando da Comissão Pastoral da Terra (CPT) de Alagoas como objeto de estudo, o artigo realiza uma análise de seu repertório utilizado nas interações com os partidos políticos e com o Estado. Foram identificadas as estratégias de ação, classificadas em categorias analíticas destacadas pela literatura recente e observada sua lógica, seus objetivos, potencialidades e limitações. A operacionalização metodológica se deu a partir de análises de base de conteúdos jornalísticos e entrevistas a atores envolvidos diretamente com a CPT-Alagoas. A pesquisa fundamenta-se na Teoria do Confronto Político, sobretudo em autores como Charles Tilly (2006; 2010) e Sidney Tarrow (2009), assim como em contribuições da Teoria dos Novos Movimentos Sociais, sobretudo nas contribuições de Melucci (1996) e Gohn (2007). Foi observada a existência de diálogos entre a Comissão Pastoral da Terra com os partidos políticos de esquerda, porém buscando manter autonomia. Em relação ao Estado há um discurso em prol do diálogo, embora sua atuação seja marcada por confronto; quando não conflitiva, predominando ações não institucionalizadas.
Este ensaio mostra um pouco do que aconteceu no 11º Abril Pró Hip Hop, evento organizado pela Companhia de Hip Hop de Alagoas no bairro Village Campestre na cidade de Maceió/AL. O objetivo dos membros ao realizarem o evento é de estimular os jovens do bairro e também da cidade a participarem de atividades e se envolverem com os processos de resistência que são produzidos. A principal característica do evento é expor um ponto de vista político e artístico da e sobre a periferia, a partir do deslocamento construído pelos processos de estigmatização do bairro, visto os elementos simbólicos que pautam uma visão negativa sobre esses lugares e seus moradores.
