This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) experimental method on science subjects. The research problem in this research is the students’ low score in learning natural sciences. This study aims to determine the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes. From the data analysis, obtained by teacher observation with percentage 78,2% and student activity 74% which included in good category. Completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle there are 18 students who complete the study with a percentage of 75%, while in the second cycle increased to 21 students who complete learning with percentage 87.5%, and the average value also increased from 67.75 to 75 , 41.
To leadership to the principal of the school plays an important role in improve the competence of teachers in their schools. Efforts to increase this are carried out by making policies that are translated into programs to increase teacher competency. This study aims to describe; (1) Principal Management in Improving Teacher Competence; (2) Principal Management Success in Increasing Teacher Competence; (3) Supporting factors, inhibiting factors and solutions for Principal Management in Improving Teacher Competence at SD N Medan City, North Sumatra. This research is in the form of qualitative research, the data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that Principal management in improving teacher competence, namely : (1) Involving teachers in training, training and seminars, (2) Implementation of supervision (3) Prioritizing discipline, (4) Motivating teachers. Application of leadership management school principals in improving teacher competence greatly affect the competence of teachers in SD N Medan City, North Sumatra, namely that the teachers have started apply the basic competency standards regulated by the government as well as possible. In implementing the program there will be supporting factors, inhibiting factors and leadership management solutions principal in improving teacher competence in Elementary School Medan City, North Sumatra.
The aim of this research is to look at the governance of technology-based Islamic education at the madrasah level in the city of Medan, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Quba. The study of this research uses qualitative research methods. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted with teachers and students. The results of the study show that governance at the Al Quba Ibtidaiyah madrasah level, Medan is a significant matter, because along with changing times, technology cannot be avoided, so that if there are madrasas that do not keep up with the times, they will be left behind by other schools. What's more, schools are currently the same as competition to get students, so technology is the main source for introducing schools to outsiders.
The purpose of this research is to improve the writing ability of Quality university students, especially class 2A12 by using English. In improving writing skills, researchers used pictures as media to stimulate their abilities. From the results of observations made for some time, students' writing skills in English were very lacking. This happened because of the lack of stimulus used during the teaching and learning process, causing them to become less enthusiastic when given English assignments, especially writing assignments
The Influence of Peer Tutoring Method In Improving The Self Regulation of Pgsd Fkip Students Quality University 0f Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of the peer tutoring method in increasing the self-regulation of Elementary School Teacher Education students at FKIP University of Quality Medan. Through tutors or peers, it is hoped that there will be potential behavior through organizing lecture material independently in the form of seeking help and providing assistance during the lecture process. This research is an experimental research using a quasi-experimental design with a total of 40 students as the experimental group and 40 students as the control group. The data collection method is to use a self-regulation scale measuring instrument adapted from the Lailiyah scale (2015). Data analysis technique using Paired samples t test. The reliability of the self-regulation scale is 618 which means it has high reliability. The treatment in this study was carried out in 2 meetings. The research results show that the peer tutoring method can improve student self-regulation. This can be seen from the comparison between the results of the pretest and posttest in the experimental group which experienced an increase. The results of the pretest and posttest are reinforced by the results of the paired samples t-test with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, because it is smaller than 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The difference in the average value of the experimental group was 2.732501, which was greater than the average value of the control group, which was 0.52500, meaning that there was a difference in self-regulation between the control group and the experimental group. The results show that there is an influence on the peer tutoring method in increasing student self-regulation.
<span>Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam materi EYD dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Metode Demonstrasi dengan Pembelajaran Konvesional di semester 1 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Quality Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah <em>quasi eksperimen </em>dengan instrumen test essay sebanyak 3 soal yang telah divalidasi oleh validator. Sebelum melakukan pembelajaran hasil rata-rata tes awal kelas 2A22 = 48,57 dan rata-rata hasil belajar Vb = 47,14. Setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran pada kelas 2A22 dengan menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi dan setelah dilakukan tes akhir siswa memperoleh rata-rata 80,13 sedangkan hasil belajar pada kelas 2A23 dengan menggunakan Pembelajaran Konvesional memperoleh rata-rata 74,95. Berdasarkan perhitungan ujii hipotesis dengan uji bk untuk data kelas 2A22 dengan metode Demonstrasi dan kelas 2A23 dengan pembelajaran Konvesional diperoleh X<sub>hitung </sub>( X<sup>2</sup>) = 33,03 dan <em>X </em></span><em><sub><span>tabel </span></sub></em><span>=5,99 Jadi nilai X<sub>hitung </sub>lebih besar dari pada <em>X </em></span><em><sub><span>tabel </span></sub></em><span>. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Demonstrasi diperoleh diperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,13, hasil belajar siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh rata-rata 74,95, Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Metode Demonstrasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia semester 1 mahasiswa PGSD, hasil belajar dengan menggunakan konvensional kurang signifikan karana cara belajar menggunakan Kovensional kurang menarik pada belajar untuk Mahasiswa di semester 1 PGSD Universitas Quality Medan Tahun akademik2019-2020</span>
This research was conducted on students of the UPBJJ UT Medan Open University who focused on the PGSD UT students of the Pandan Tapteng Study group. Based on data analysis and research hypothesis testing carried out in Class A and B semester nine UT students registration period 2020.1 it can be concluded as follows: Student learning outcomes using conventional learning in final semester UT students obtained an average value of 71.43. Student learning outcomes using the online module in the final semester students obtained an average value of 80.24. There is a significant effect of using the online module on UT student learning outcomes at the level of passing the final exam.
Analysis of Online Learning for Indonesian Language Courses in Low Grades for Pgsd Fkip Students at the University of Quality Medan. The Covid pandemic that hit the world, not only Indonesia, has paralyzed the economic system, trade tourism and of course the world of education. Teachers and students are required to be technologically literate in carrying out teaching and learning activities. With this pandemic, changing the existing learning system in Indonesia from offline learning to online learning. Teaching is one of the main tasks for a teacher, where the teacher is able to convey subject matter to students so that what the child did not know before has changed to know, and those who do not understand understand. Online is connected through computer networks, the internet, and so on. Due to the development of the times during a pandemic like this it is increasingly being expanded. Online is an interaction between someone and someone through conversation, which can be done in student learning activities. with learning from this students can think critically which directs students to be able to solve problems, and students can do this online learning anywhere and anytime, and lecturers can see student posts and provide feedback on assignments from students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation instruments and field notes.
