A feature of modern globalization processes is their vulnerability to the volatility of short-term capital flows, which, combined with the growing volatility of commodity prices, have created serious difficulties for the economic policies of commodity-oriented countries. Therefore, the study of the impact of world commodity prices on the dynamics of economic growth of countries with commodity exports and the development of an appropriate methodology based on modern economic and mathematical tools is an urgent task. The purpose of the study is the impact of volatility and the level of world commodity prices on income dynamics (GDP and industrial production) using three groups of countries with different levels of economic development as an example. Functional dependencies were studied for three groups of countries: industrial countries exporting raw materials, countries – commodity exporters of low income and commodity countries of the former Soviet Union. The analysis is based on quarterly data for the period 1980–2018 using the Two-Step Least Squares (2SLS) method. We developed a methodology for the economic and statistical analysis of the functional dependencies of the commodity economy, which provides for the simultaneous accounting of the level of world commodity prices and their volatility, allows us to empirically evaluate the mechanisms of the macroeconomic influence of commodity prices on the dynamics of economic growth, primarily income (GDP and industrial production). It has been established that rising world prices for raw materials improves the dynamics of GDP and industrial production of countries exporting primary resources, while the consequences of high volatility of price indices are predominantly negative. If the impact on the economic growth of the exporting countries of raw materials of individual price indices coincides, then the corresponding estimates for volatility can differ significantly.
The main purpose of the study is to plan the process of ensuring the security of sustainable development of the socio-economic system. The research methodology involves the use of the IDEF0 modeling technique, which made it possible to achieve all the goals. As a result of the study, a model was formed that will allow planning a system for ensuring the security of sustainable development of the socio-economic system. The focus of the article falls on the problems of planning to ensure the security of socio-economic systems. The theoretical contribution of the results obtained is presented by mapping the process of applying a methodical approach to the selected issue. The practical significance of the article is characterized by modeling for a specific socio-economic system. The innovations of the results obtained are presented in the form of a contextual model. The study has limitations, despite the fact that the model we have developed includes more unified elements, the vector of the study is limited to a specific socio-economic system Lidl, therefore, in subsequent studies, it is planned to adapt this model to other socio-economic systems.
In today's post-pandemic reality, human capital plays one of the leading roles in ensuring economic growth. The intensification of innovative processes in the context of post-pandemic social constructivism, the widespread use of information technology, intellectualization of labor, etc. In the context of post-pandemic social constructivism, transformations of the content and structure of human capital take place, make adjustments to the process of its formation, accumulation, use and change the nature of the impact of human capital on economic development. In today's post-pandemic reality, there are many problems both in the field of the formation of innovatively oriented human capital and in the sphere of its use, which necessitates the search for ways to effectively manage these processes in order to ensure the balanced development of production factors in the context of the formation of an innovative economy in the country. The article analyzes the main methods and aspects of cognitive psychology that can be useful in the development of human capital. In particular, special attention was paid to the development of emotional intelligence and emotional competence. The reason for choosing precisely such elements of cognitive psychology as the level of emotional intelligence and emotional competence is that they are a prerequisite for successful self-realization of a person and, as a result, an important prerequisite for successful management of human capital in the conditions of post-pandemic social constructivism.
The article analyzes the role of human capital in the production and economic activity of the enterprise. It was determined that the most important condition for increasing the competitiveness of a modern enterprise is the formation of highly developed human capital capable of producing not only new knowledge, but also competitive advantages in any sphere of activity. One of the main directions of the development of personnel of enterprises is the organization of interrelated processes of development of competitive and personal abilities of an employee. The experience of many foreign companies indicates the strengthening of the role of human resources management in the system of factors that ensure competitiveness. In order to achieve a more stable competitive position, the enterprise must constantly develop personnel development programs that would ensure the satisfaction of many needs of employees, development and improvement of professional and general educational level. Sufficient provision of enterprises with human capital of the appropriate level of qualification and professional skills, its rational use, high level of labor productivity are of great importance for increasing production volumes and improving production efficiency. Human capital forms 70% of the national wealth of developed countries and only 30% of the national wealth of Ukraine. It is even worse that while developed countries are increasing their human capital, Ukraine is losing it: demographic and migration losses, the mismatch of education and qualifications of workers with the requirements of the times, low labor productivity and innovativeness of the economy, the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine are leading us to disaster. Extremely low labor productivity in Ukraine will continue to decline, as a large number of the population is currently out of work, leaving the country, many enterprises are suspending their work and reducing their staff. Determining the main causes of existing problems and creating an effective strategy for the restoration of human capital is the main condition for the revival of Ukraine after the war. Enterprises today must become socially active and be included in processes of a nationwide nature, cooperating with civil organizations and, what is especially important in today’s conditions, the volunteer movement. It is obvious that every enterprise has people who are directly or indirectly involved in the mobilization processes, volunteering, charity, who may have suffered losses due to the war, therefore the management of the enterprise has no right to be indifferent to the fate of its team. By forming corporate volunteering, enterprises join general processes, demonstrating their social importance, social responsibility and increasing their image on the market. National consciousness is a component of human capital. It was thanks to the level of patriotic intelligence that there was a rallying of the population of Ukraine, the creation of volunteer aid centers, provision of the Armed Forces and territorial aid with charitable contributions to support their activities. In general, the biophysical, intellectual and social components of human capital give an awareness of the importance of the work of individuals and their contribution to the functioning of the economy in wartime.
