Las tecnologías inmersivas están cada vez más presentes en los establecimientos de educación superior. Sin embargo, creemos que es pertinente hacer un balance del impacto de estas tecnologías en la transferencia de conocimientos a los estudiantes, así como de los riesgos y limitaciones inherentes a su uso. Esta revisión de literatura basada en el método EPPI (Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating) tiene como objetivo establecer el estado actual del conocimiento de las modernas tecnologías inmersivas en la educación superior. Nos centramos en la realidad virtual, la realidad aumentada y el vídeo 360°. Además, se redujo el alcance de la búsqueda seleccionando los estudios que utilizan un casco autónomo del tipo Head-Mounted Display (HMD) o gafas de realidad aumentada. El número total de artículos seleccionados para la revisión se limitó a cuarenta (40). Los resultados nos permitieron identificar los atributos y mecanismos relacionados con las aplicaciones virtuales, y describir sus ventajas y limitaciones para el aprendizaje.
Cet article, qui est la synthèse d’un mémoire de maîtrise, a principalement trois objectifs. Le premier objectif consiste à développer une méthodologie de conception de jeu sérieux éducatif (JSÉ) permettant spécifiquement d’aider les enfants qui éprouvent des difficultés en lecture ou qui présentent des symptômes associés à la dyslexie développementale. Le deuxième objectif consiste à réaliser un prototype Alpha du jeu, et le troisième objectif consiste à évaluer la cohérence du scénario ainsi que l’ergonomie du jeu par un test utilisateur. Les travaux de Green et Bavellier (2012) indiquent que jouer à des jeux vidéo d’action améliore l’attention et l’apprentissage. Tandis que la recherche de Franceschini, Gori, Ruffino, Molteni et Facoetti (2013) démontre que l’utilisation d’un jeu vidéo d’action sans dimension sérieuse améliore la concentration et la vitesse de lecture des enfants dyslexiques. Dans le cadre de cette recherche, nous croyons que l’ajout d’exercices de rééducation en lecture à un jeu vidéo d’action améliorera son efficacité pour l’apprentissage de la lecture des enfants présentant des symptômes associés à la dyslexie. Les résultats de l’expérimentation portant sur la cohérence du scénario ainsi que sur l’ergonomie du jeu sont prometteurs. Des modifications devront être effectuées, notamment au niveau de la navigation et de l’optimisation des missions du jeu.
Les applications pédagogiques qui font usage des technologies immersives sont de plus en plus présentes dans les établissements d’enseignement supérieur. Nous croyons ainsi qu’il est pertinent de faire le point sur l’impact de ces technologies virtuelles sur le transfert de connaissances aux apprenants ainsi que sur les limites et les risques inhérents à leurs usages. Cette revue de littérature a pour objectif de dresser l’état actuel des connaissances en technologies virtuelles modernes appliquées à l’éducation supérieure. Nous nous intéressons particulièrement à la réalité virtuelle (RV) et à la vidéo 360 qui font usage d’un casque autonome « head-mounted display » (HMD), ainsi qu’aux applications en réalité augmentée (RA) qui emploient des lunettes assistées comme périphérique. Les résultats permettront d’identifier les attributs et mécanismes reliés aux applications virtuelles, et de décrire leurs avantages et leurs limites pour l’apprentissage. Nous avons eu recours à la méthode EPPI (Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating), pour effectuer cette revue de littérature. Le sommaire des données recueillies est regroupé dans cinq thèmes : 1) conception et intégration de la dimension pédagogique; 2) théories et concepts; 3) méthodologies d’évaluation; 4) motivation et 5) collaboration.
