Floating building is one of the solutions to anticipate residential areas against Tidal floods which have been occurring on the North Coast of Central Java. This floating building can adjust its buoyancy to the effect of rising sea level and land subsidence. This building can be applied in sea tidal flood areas and retention ponds in polder systems. The main materials used as the floating building platform are styrofoam and lightweight concrete. This study aims to determine the stability, capacity and buoyancy of the prototype platform using styrofoam and lightweight concrete. This study uses mathematical analysis methods and prototype testing with laboratory experiments. Based on the analysis result for the styrofoam material platform with dimensions of 2 × 2 × 0.62 m, a buoyancy force of 2.73 tons was obtained with the Safety Factor (SF) of 1.25. A lightweight concrete weight of 0.97 tons, the load that can be supported by the prototype is 1.2 tons. The prototype of the styrofoam material platform with a lightweight concrete cover has a stable condition with a value of m>0, namely the center of object weight (B0) is +0.74 meters and the metacentric value is +0.9 meters.
The purpose of this study was to describe conventional implicatures in the Republic of Social Media Segment 4 (Roasting) on Trans TV. The theories used in this study include: (a) the nature of pragmatics, (b) the nature of implicatures, (c) conventional implicatures, and (d) the Republic of Social Media program on Trans TV. This research used a descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were comics and guest stars in the Republik Sosmed program in segment 4 (Roasting) on Trans TV. The results of this study include: (a) on the Republic of Social Media program segment 4 (roasting), there were 5 conventional implicature data, (b) on October 08, 2017 presented comic Ridwan Remin, there were 2 conventional implicature data, (c) on October 14, 2017 presented comic Ridwan Remin, there were 3 implicature data, (d) on October 15 2017 presenting comic Yuda Keling, there were 3 conventional implicature data, (e) on October 21 2017 presenting comics Tretan and Rizki, there was 1 conventional implicature data, (f) on October 22, 2017 presenting the comics Tretan and Coki, there were 2 conventional implicature data, (g) on October 28, 2017 presenting, the comic Yuda Keling there was 1 conventional implicature data, and (h) on October 29, 2017 presenting the comic Yuda Keling, there were 3 conventional implicature data.
This study aims to know the student’s ability in writing narrative text in terms of content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics mastery at the eightth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan and to know why the students’ ability in writing narrative text in terms of content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics mastery are low at the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 2 Tambangan. The research was conducted by using mix method(quantitative and qualitative research) with 9 students as the informants. The documentation and interview were used in collecting the data. Based on data analysis, it could be found (a)the result of the from their ability in writing narrative text in terms of content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics still below the criteria minimum (KKM). The average all of the participants just on average 65 while the KKM value demanded that they must except to get the score on the average of criteria minimum at 75. and b) The result of the data finding showed that most of the students are unable in writing narrative text includes in content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics. It is proved from their score n writing narrative text are still below the KKM. and c)Based on the writer’s interview to the 9 informants, most of students think writing is difficult skill for them because they have limited understanding in vocabulary, grammar and tenses mastery.
This development research aims to describe the process of developing textbooks, analyze the feasibility of textbooks, and analyze students' responses to guided inquiry based textbooks on Automation and Public Relations and Protocol class XII OTKP odd semester. The development model used is a 4-D model that consists of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This research was conducted at SMKN 10 Surabaya. The subject of this research was class XII OTKP 3 consisting of 20 students as a limited trial. The validation results from experts showed that the feasibility of the material was 95%, the feasibility of the language was 88%, and the feasibility of the graphic was 82%. So that the overall average value of 88% with the interpretation criteria is very feasible. While the results of limited trials to determine student responses to textbooks developed by 96% with very interesting interpretation criteria. Thus, guided inquiry based textbooks on Automation and Public Relations and Protocol class XII OTKP in the odd semester were declared to be suitable as teaching materials.
ABSTRAK— The curriculum can be interpreted narrowly and broadly. The curriculum is narrowly interpreted as a number of subjects that must be followed or taken by students to be able to complete their education, at a particular institution, whereas broadly the curriculum is interpreted with all the learning experiences that schools provide to students while attending education at a certain educational level. Efforts to provide learning experiences to students can take place both inside and outside the classroom, whether written or not, as long as they are aimed at forming quality graduates. The curriculum is a component that is very important and decisive in the administration of education. the curriculum functions as a tool for the achievement of educational goals, if educational goals change then automatically the curriculum must also be changed. For children the curriculum is useful as a tool to develop all the potential they have towards a better direction under the guidance of teachers at school. For teachers, the curriculum functions as a guide and reference in organizing learning in schools.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
