Internalizing the understanding of the character and multicultural educations is a mandatory matter that must always be established in the learning process to prevent nation disintegration. As an alternative, literature appreciation can be conducted with the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach. In the CLIL approach, the theory of teaching material selection used in learning activities refers to the concept of 4C (content, communication, cognition, culture). Through the 4C concept, the variety of teaching materials and literary texts used will be better in grading and comply with the vision to internalize character education and multiculturalism to the learners. Based on its literary analysis, Komik AKU KPK, Tiga Pahlawan Tanpa Tanda Jasa, and Anak Indonesia Hebat contain the values of religious, multicultural, love, faith, responsibility, tolerance, hard work, independent, creative, curiosity, and social care character, that can be applied as a suitable basis for students life development.
<p><em>Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (a) mendeskripsi best practice program integrasi literasi dengan media kartu kwartet untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan karakter cinta lingkungan bagi siswa, serta (b) mendeskripsi peningkatan pemahaman siswa ihwal literasi lingkungan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif dengan tradisi studi naratif. Subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas tiga </em><em>MI Ma’arif Arrosyidin sejumlah 44 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2019. Integrasi pembelajaran dilaksanakan pada jam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Muatan Lokal/Bahasa Asing. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, evaluasi hasil penilaian dan perubahan motivasi siswa, serta didukung dengan teknik wawancara. Berdasarkan implementasi pembelajaran dan best practice yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penanaman pendidikan karakter cinta lingkungan dapat dilakukan dengan program integrasi literasi dengan media kartu kwartet. Kartu kwartet cinta lingkungan yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran memiliki lima seri, yaitu (1) ayo, cintai tanaman, (2) ayo, pelihara udara, (3) ayo, kenali sampah, (4) ayo, jaga air, dan (5) ayo, sayangi fauna. Selain adanya peningkatan ketertarikan siswa untuk belajar memahami lingkungan hidup, terjadi pula meningkatkan kesadaran anak tentang fenomena kerusakan lingkungan dan aksi nyata yang dapat mereka lakukan untuk menjaga kelestarian alam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.</em><em></em></p>
Cases of violence against children in the East Kalimantan region have reached 1,386 complaints since 2019. Through critical discourse, it can be seen how the language of the media conveys information to readers through the emphasis on actors positioned in the text. This qualitative descriptive research emphasizes documentary analysis by reviewing published written sources, namely the news entitled “Kisah Pilu Korban Pemerkosaan Dipaksa Menikah dengan Pelaku”. Based on the discourse strategy used by the author, it can be seen that this “heartbreaking story of a rape victim” becomes the object of the story. It is evidenced by the use of markers such as a child, sexual violence, forced marriage, rape, exacerbating trauma, and the victim getting worse. The news is presented based on events that emerged because of the description of other actors as the storyteller's subject, not based on the victim's information about what he experienced. The news text reveals a picture of the position of the subject and the object of the story so that it can determine the way the text is presented to the reader. The news text contains a gender bias because the incident is not told from the perspective of women as victims.
Pembelajaran daring menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang diterapkan akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Tidar beserta solusi yang dapat diterapkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode angket dari Google dengan responden berjumlah 85 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 84 mahasiswa yang memiliki kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Hal ini merepresentasikan bahwa hampir seluruh mahasiswa mengalami kendala. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembenahan di beberapa aspek agar kendala dapat diminimalisasi. Pada aspek pemberian materi, dosen diharapkan memberikan penjelasan secara terperinci menggunakan video ataupun pesan suara. Pada aspek waktu, dosen diharapkan memberikan toleransi waktu kepada mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan serta mengumpulkan tugas. Pada aspek metode, mahasiswa menghendaki lebih banyak menggunakan metode diskusi, presentasi, serta penugasan.Online learning is an alternative learning that is implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe constraints in implementing online learning of FKIP Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students at Tidar University along with applicable solutions. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research data were collected using a questionnaire method from Google Form with 85 students as respondents. The results showed 84 students have obstacles in implementing online learning. This represented that almost all students experienced problems. So, improvement is needed in several aspects so that obstacles can be minimized. In the aspect of providing material, lecturers are expected to provide detailed explanations using video or voice messages. In the aspect of time, lecturers are expected to give time tolerance to students in working on and collecting assignments. In the aspect of methods, students want to use more methods of discussion, presentation, and assignments.
