Abstract-The problem of long bended routes in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is one of the annoying problems that harvest a big number of vitalities annually. The problem relays under the fact that these long bended route are in shortage for lighting because of its extremely high cost. Therefore, in this paper, a system will be proposed as a smart alerting system based on ZigBee sensor network. The proposed system targets the roads with weak lights at night time in order to reduce the number of accidents which may occur on such dangerous roads. A number of real experiments were conducted using ZigBee sensor nodes in order to test the efficiency and reliability of the proposed system. Through real experiments, it was demonstrated that the proposed system offers reasonable response time, and achieves low power consumption.
This study investigates smartphone users' perceptions of adopting and accepting Mobile Commerce (MC) based on users' perceived adoption under the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM2) and Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) by providing research constructs for the domain of MC. Also, testing them with reliability and validity and demonstrating their distinctiveness with hypothesis testing. The results show that consumer intention to adopt MC on a smartphone was primarily influenced by Uncertainty Avoidance (UA), User Experience (UX), Perceived Ease Of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Compatibility (CMP) as well as other constructs that positively determine attitude toward using a smartphone. For researchers, this study shows the benefits of adapting TAM constructs into MC acceptance on a smartphone. The perceptions of MC adoption on a smartphone in this study investigated based on a survey of specific people. For more reliability, a comprehensive study is needed to show the attitudes of people from different environments.
Mobile internet technology is spreading day by day around the world. The importance of such technology relates to its ability to allow access to the internet any time or any place. Despite the progress made in the mobile internet field, there are still some difficulties in using it. Some of these difficulties are connected directly to the mobile usability issues such as the screen size, input method and font size. Other difficulties are related to the experience in using such technology. This research aims to find out the main boundaries and obstacles which limit the use of mobile handsets as an internet platform. The research aim extends to studying the effect of cultural issues on people's use of the internet on a mobile phone. The research reported here is based on participants from the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan.
Designing an application with elevated usability is the aim of the study. The more usable, more positive user experience we are achieving. The medical field is currently experiencing low UX applications and interfaces. The study will strive to address the healthcare systems in Jordan. While taking the user into our consideration and giving what he/she might find usable and enjoyable a high priority, only by such approach we will succeed and achieve a positive user experience.
Mobile technology is becoming more popular around the world. The importance of such technology relates to its capability of allowing the user of performing many different Tasks simultaneously on daily basis. Nowadays, travelling from one place to another became easier than before. This is due to the availability of Electronic maps and guidance systems for different users. Despite the progress adding to the mobile application field, there are still some boundaries and limitations in using such devices. Some of the difficulties are connected directly to culture. Other difficulties are related to the lack of experience in using such technology and how far would a user trust such technology. In this research, light will be spotted on the idea of providing a guidance mobile application for the newly enrolled students to Zarqa University. Additionally, main restrictions and obstacles which limit the use of the mobile handset as a guide system will be taken into considerations. The research aim extends to studying the effect of cultural issues on the proposed system.
The aim of this research is to study the acceptance of university students to use Microsoft Teams e-Learning system and their intention to use it as a Learning Management System (LMS) for education during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan. An ex-tended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with a blend of external factors that are used together for the first time was developed and used for the purpose of this study. TAM was used because of its wide use and success during the past few years for evaluating the influence of different factors affecting the acceptance and intention to use e-Learning platforms within educational institutes. However, all the studies were examining the variables and factors affecting the behavioral intention and acceptance to use LMSs when normal and conventional classroom study is available. In this research, seven external variables, in addition to the four TAM variables, were introduced in a model including one external variable, Internet Connectivity (IC), used for the first time in the field of education. A model is constructed by extending TAM with the introduced external variables, hypotheses are constructed and a questionnaire for 396 students at two universities in Jordan is conducted. Reliability, confirmatory factor, model fit, and hypothesized structural model analyses are presented. Results show that all the variables tested affect, either directly or indirectly, the acceptance and intention to use MS Teams during the pandemic. 21 hypotheses were tested between the constructs and found significant except the relations between (Social Norm - Perceived Usefulness) and (Technical Support - Perceived Usefulness).
With today's busy life, it is imperative to conserve any spare time as we spend generous amount of our daily time driving. Using arduino sensors to send notifications to the nearby drivers in the occasion of any accidents or road blockage will defiantly achieve the purpose of this research. Results showed that such approach could be adapted successfully in the automobile industry.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
