At the end of 2019 China was shocked by a very deadly virus outbreak, Covid-19. Then in 2020, this virus outbreak became a global pandemic that resulted in many life settings being forced to change suddenly, one of which was teaching and learning activities in schools. Indonesia also immediately adjusts the conditions to minimize the spread of this virus. Schools and universities agreed to change learning activities towards distance learning systems. However, the poor implementation has actually made the situation worse, where students feel a lot of stress due to distance learning management is not done comprehensively. This article aims to analyze the implementation of distance learning systems carried out by Indonesian education in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Literature studies from various reports and scientific articles as well as in-depth interviews were also conducted with samples of students, teachers and parents, both in rural and urban environments in Indonesia which were most affected by the Covid-19 virus. The results of the analysis conclude that Indonesia has prepared virtual infrastructure well, but the factors of teachers and schools still need to understand more about the essence of distance learning. Students have low self-regulated learning so they are less able to regulate their distance learning activities, teachers tend to stutter about technology, and parents lack understanding of the nature of teaching and learning activities carried out at home.

Hasil diskusi bersama peserta pelatihan, peserta didik mereka merasa tertarik dan antusias dalam menggunakan mobile learning application yang telah dikembangkan oleh guru.Abstract: Students are currently generation Z and Alfa who have the characteristics of being digital native, where their lives are very closely related to digital technology, especially Android devices. Currently there is also a Covid-19 pandemic situation which demands that learning be carried out remotely. Based on this, android-based learning media is needed and it is hoped that teachers can develop it. However, making Android-based learning media is notoriously difficult because teachers must first understand complex coding. Seeing this reality, a national training was conducted for Indonesian teachers to develop an Android-based mobile learning application that will be used as a learning medium. The training is conducted virtually through YouTube live stremaing as well as intensive guidance by instructors in classes at Google Classroom for one month. The results of this dedication show that the participants are able to develop an Android-based mobile learning application without coding for the subjects they are teaching, then use it as a tool in implementing remote learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The results of the discussion with the training participants, their students felt interested and enthusiastic in using the mobile learning application that had been developed by the teacher. then use it as a tool in implementing remote learning in the covid-19 pandemic situation. The World Economic Forum (WEF), at the end of 2020, has issued a report that one of the most critical skills in the future is creativity. Vocational teachers as central learning facilitators must be able to accommodate a learning atmosphere that supports students' creativity. The integration of creativity skills and the use of technology is necessary, considering that we have entered the era of digitalization of education and industry. On the other hand, students are currently Generation Z and Generation Alpha, which are digital natives. In the field, teachers at Vocational High School (VHS) 1 Probolinggo do not yet fully have a variety of e-learning media development tools that can accommodate the creativity skill needs of their students. The purpose of this community service activity is to train and assist teachers of VHS 1 Probolinggo as one of the Vocational High Schools of Excellence in Office Management and Business Services. Teachers acquire training and assistance to develop learning media and models that accommodate students' creativity skills in the digital era. The analysis results show that after being given training and mentoring, teachers at VHS 1 Probolinggo have skills in developing media and implementing learning models that support student’s creative skills in the digital era. Thus, it is considered capable of supporting government programs in improving the quality of human resources through the Center of Excellence Vocational School (SMK Pusat Keunggulan) program.
