At the end of 2019 China was shocked by a very deadly virus outbreak, Covid-19. Then in 2020, this virus outbreak became a global pandemic that resulted in many life settings being forced to change suddenly, one of which was teaching and learning activities in schools. Indonesia also immediately adjusts the conditions to minimize the spread of this virus. Schools and universities agreed to change learning activities towards distance learning systems. However, the poor implementation has actually made the situation worse, where students feel a lot of stress due to distance learning management is not done comprehensively. This article aims to analyze the implementation of distance learning systems carried out by Indonesian education in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Literature studies from various reports and scientific articles as well as in-depth interviews were also conducted with samples of students, teachers and parents, both in rural and urban environments in Indonesia which were most affected by the Covid-19 virus. The results of the analysis conclude that Indonesia has prepared virtual infrastructure well, but the factors of teachers and schools still need to understand more about the essence of distance learning. Students have low self-regulated learning so they are less able to regulate their distance learning activities, teachers tend to stutter about technology, and parents lack understanding of the nature of teaching and learning activities carried out at home.
The purpose of this research aims to develop the creative economy sector of rural communities in Trenggalek Regency, East Java, Indonesia by mapping the creative economy sub-sectors in Trenggalek Regency. The creative economy industry has been shown to have a positive effect on GDP in many developing countries and developed countries. In urban areas, the creative economy is often associated with the development of advanced technology, such that it is unlikely to evolve in rural communities. However, the rural environmental landscape, which not only has a wealth of creative human capital but also a cultural heritage, also encourages the growth of the creative economy sector in rural areas. This qualitative research was conducted for 60 working days through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, observation and literature review. More precisely, first, it identified the potential of the creative economy both sectorally and regionally. Second, it identified the leading creative economy subsectors and compiled a creative economic development road map. After defining and mapping the potential of the creative economy, four of the sixteen sub-sectors of the creative economy were identified to be developed through a strategic plan for the growth of the creative economy using urban branding, innovative industrial centers and renewable resources.
Mobile learning enables organizations to meet the educational demands of digital native learners in the digital era. Education at the vocational high school level also makes use of it, as this level of education has unique characteristics in terms of the type of learning that occurs, notably the emphasis of practice-based learning. There has not been a study on the usage of mobile learning at the vocational high school level that has used the bibliometric method to provide a baseline for future research. The objective of this paper is to conduct a thorough bibliometric analysis of the literature on mobile learning in vocational high schools. Articles were obtained from the Scopus database, as many as 121 articles were studied in this study, out of 132 articles discovered between 2015 - 2020. After managing the database, the researcher used VOSviewer software to classify and visualize co-authorship, co-accuracy, and citation. Overall, the information presented in this review can be used as a starting point for future research on the topic of m - learning in educational process of vocational high school. <p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris">Situasi pandemi covid-19 membuat peran teknologi sangat dominan dalam pendidikan. Guru dan peserta didik membutuhkan teknologi atau platform yang mendukung kegiatan pembelaran jarak jauh dan tetap mempunyai interaksi yang baik, agar kelas tetap menjadi menyenangkan dan produktif. Salah satu platform yang bisa menjawab tantangan tersebut adalah Canva. Canva mempunyai salah satu layanan atau program khusus yang dirancang untuk pendidikan, yakni Canva for Education. Layanan ini didesain untuk guru dan peserta didik agar tetap mendapatkan pengalaman pembelajaran yang kreatif, kolaboratif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek/responden penelitian ini adalah guru-guru di forum High Tech Teacher Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pedoman observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan Canva for Education oleh guru sebagai media pembelajaran kreatif dan kolaboratif untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas guru menyatakan bahwa Canva for Education mampu membantu menciptakan atau mengembangkan media/multimedia pembelajaran kreatif dan interaktif untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh. Melalui penggunaan Canva for Education dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh juga mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang kolaboratif. Hal ini sangat mendukung ketercapaian output pembelajaran yang diharapkan pada era digital saat ini.</p>
Halal Tourism trends encounter improvement due to the increasing number of Muslim tourists who travel to various countries and spend an exceptional amount of funds every year. Halal Tourism positively affects countries' economic growth, including Indonesia. GMTI 2019 places Indonesia as the best Halal Tourism destination. Consequently, the Indonesia government is continuously working on this promising economic opportunity by developing Halal Tourism destinations in several areas. However, what has been projected by the Indonesia government to grab this global economic opportunity faces social rejections. This study aims to analyze the economic opportunity of the Halal Tourism trend and the acceptance from Indonesia's society affected by this project development. The literature analysis reveals that Indonesia society refuses the Halal Tourism concept due to the low comprehension of the Halal Tourism concept. Thus, education on Halal Tourism should be conducted, and focused segmentation of Halal Tourism destination is urgent to be completed.
