At the end of 2019 China was shocked by a very deadly virus outbreak, Covid-19. Then in 2020, this virus outbreak became a global pandemic that resulted in many life settings being forced to change suddenly, one of which was teaching and learning activities in schools. Indonesia also immediately adjusts the conditions to minimize the spread of this virus. Schools and universities agreed to change learning activities towards distance learning systems. However, the poor implementation has actually made the situation worse, where students feel a lot of stress due to distance learning management is not done comprehensively. This article aims to analyze the implementation of distance learning systems carried out by Indonesian education in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Literature studies from various reports and scientific articles as well as in-depth interviews were also conducted with samples of students, teachers and parents, both in rural and urban environments in Indonesia which were most affected by the Covid-19 virus. The results of the analysis conclude that Indonesia has prepared virtual infrastructure well, but the factors of teachers and schools still need to understand more about the essence of distance learning. Students have low self-regulated learning so they are less able to regulate their distance learning activities, teachers tend to stutter about technology, and parents lack understanding of the nature of teaching and learning activities carried out at home.
The study aims to develop a project-based learning assessment system to improve students’ competence. Data were obtained using the Research and Development (R&D) methods adopted from Borg & Gall which comprised of 8 stages. The research products were tested by using the construct and content validations conducted by 2 lecturers and 1 teacher, respectively. Furthermore, students’ competence was analyzed by measuring their cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. The product developed obtained highly valid criteria in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains with scores of 84.6%, 84.2% and 84%, respectively. In addition, the results of content validation obtained highly valid criteria in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains with scores of 90%, 93.3%, and 92%. Furthermore, the results of field testing obtained a score of 82% by 1 archival teacher and 82.77% by 30 students which showed that the assessment instrument received a good response and feasible for use in learning. The improvement in competence was measured by projects made in the instrument, and it led to a significant improvement in competence before using the assessment as learning instrument.
Mobile learning enables organizations to meet the educational demands of digital native learners in the digital era. Education at the vocational high school level also makes use of it, as this level of education has unique characteristics in terms of the type of learning that occurs, notably the emphasis of practice-based learning. There has not been a study on the usage of mobile learning at the vocational high school level that has used the bibliometric method to provide a baseline for future research. The objective of this paper is to conduct a thorough bibliometric analysis of the literature on mobile learning in vocational high schools. Articles were obtained from the Scopus database, as many as 121 articles were studied in this study, out of 132 articles discovered between 2015 - 2020. After managing the database, the researcher used VOSviewer software to classify and visualize co-authorship, co-accuracy, and citation. Overall, the information presented in this review can be used as a starting point for future research on the topic of m - learning in educational process of vocational high school. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan manajemen dan pembukuan dasar di IKM Sanan Kota Malang ini adalah memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan, dan pendampingan bagi para pelaku usaha kripik tempe untuk membuat pembukuan sederhana sehingga mampu membuat pembukuan sendiri agar tertib dalam melakukan pencatatan keuangannya sehingga dapat terukur pengeluaran, pemasukannya dan keuntungan yang diperoleh serta dapat mengetahui perkembangan usahanya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui sosialisasi, kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para pelaku usaha sampai dengan pelaku usaha mempraktekkan langsung pembukuannya secara riil. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan wirausaha di dalam membuat pembukuan sedehana sehingga meningkatkan motivasi di dalam bekerja. pelatihan pembukuan sederhana mendapat respon yang positif dan pelaku usaha mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai wawasan baru dalam menjalankan usahanya melalui pembukuan/pencatatan keuangan sederhana yang mudah diaplikasikan. Impikasinya adalah melalui pelatihan pembukuan sederhana pelaku usaha IKM Sanan Kota Malang mampu memahami cara berwirausaha yang baik melalui pencatatan keuangan. Abstract The purpose of basic management and accounting training activities at SMEs Sanan Malang is to provide insights, knowledge and assistance for tempe chip business practitioners to make simple bookkeeping so as to be able to make their own bookkeeping in order to conduct financial records so that measurable expenses can be measured, the income and profits obtained and can find out the development of the business. The method used is through socialization, training activities and mentoring to business actors up to business practitioners directly practicing bookkeeping in real terms. The results obtained from this training activity are able to increase entrepreneur's knowledge and skills in making simple bookkeeping so as to increase motivation in working. simple bookkeeping training gets a positive response and businesses get knowledge and skills about new insights in running their business through simple financial accounting / records that are easily applied. The dream is through simple accounting training for SMEs Sanan Malang entrepreneurs able to understand good ways of entrepreneurship through financial records. This study aims to determine the implementation of Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model, enhancing critical thinking and students’ learning outcome on archiving. This research is a classroom action research utilizing qualitative approach consisting of two cycles on students of Office Administration. The subject were students at one of the vocational school in East Java, using data analysis in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results showed that POE learning model is able to improve students' ability to think on Archiving. The students’ cognitive learning, affective, and psychomotor also increased as the implementation of learning model. Hence, the POE learning model is effectively used in learning.
