This research departs from the lack of awareness of parents about instilling the value of monotheism in children. This study aims to determine how the application of Islamic songs in instilling monotheism in children. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers and students of Class B1 Kindergarten Al-Hikmah. Researchers conducted observations and structured interviews with informants. The data collection technique in this study uses an interactive engineering model, in this study data analysis has been carried out simultaneously with the data collection process, the activities in this study are collecting data, reducing, presenting and taking. The researcher summarizes various information that has been collected from various sources regarding the application of the Islamic singing method in Al-Hikmah Kindergarten, Kotawaringin Village. Researchers present and group data in the form of reports so that the data is arranged systematically, researchers make conclusions from the data that has been collected, from the results of this study it was found that by applying learning using the singing method it can grow knowledge about religion and instill the value of monotheism in children from an early age in kindergarten Al-Hikmah Kotawaringin Village.
Children with mild mental retardation are different from normal children in general. Mild mentally retarded children have learning difficulties evident in the academic field. Therefore, to teach learning materials to children with mild mental retardation, teachers need to provide learning media. One of them is visual media. So this study aims to analyze the use of visual learning media in optimizing all aspects of the development of mild mentally retarded children. This research uses the literature review method with thematic structure data collection techniques and Critical appraisal analysis techniques. In this study, all results obtained in the reviewed literature showed that visual learning media significantly influenced the development of children with mild mental retardation. The visual learning media used in the research that has been carried out are blocks, counting boards, drawing cards, word walls, busy books, and picture crosswords. This is undoubtedly very helpful for teachers in the learning process because visual media can contain various learning materials to increase the interest and enthusiasm for learning of children with mild mental retardation.
This study aims to describe the storytelling method as an alternative to enhancing the spoken language of deaf children. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The technique of collecting the data was technique and observation. The student's principal, teachers, and parents become the informants. The researchers analyzed the data using a single case by determining the subject to be studied, then using research data sources, collecting and analyzing them, reducing and concluding and compiling. The results showed that the use of the storytelling method was effective in enhancing spoken language in deaf children. It is hoped that the school will routinely hold activities that can enhance spoken language in deaf children, using both the storytelling method and other methods
This research was carried out with the aim of providing knowledge or choices to parents and teachers or educators that cognitive development can be enhanced through playing educational games with blocks. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. With data collection techniques observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were 20 students of class B TK Darussalam Plus Yogyakarta. The results showed that there was an increase in children's cognitive abilities through educational games in the form of blocks. This is evidenced by the increase in children's cognitive abilities with the application of educational games, such as being able to classify different according to type and color, compare shapes around them, understand various number concepts, distinguish between large and small, long and short, time, space, and able to make a good picture or design.
