Tempe industry is one of potential micro enterprises operating in Indonesia. Tempe isa well-known substitution food consumed by many people in the country. Thus tempeproduction has an important role in meeting the demand for Tempe in the domestic market in Indonesia. Practically in many areas, Tempe production is operated in a small scale due to lack of resources. This promising business is feasible to be developed into a higher scale. The feasibility study is an in-depth assessment in analyzing either a running business or a proposed business plan. The purpose of this study is to define a business condition with a statement that a business is feasible or not as per consideration in various analyzed aspects. In-depth assessment means that one enterprise will be studied comprehensively according to data and information, measured and examined with certain methods. One important aspect is marketing which will look at how large the market share of the business, how capable the business to attain the proportion of the market sharudie, relatively compare with the competitors, what strategies will be conducted in obtaining the expected results for the business. Financial analysis will assess the capability of a business in attaining revenue and minimizing the cost. By doing this analysis, the duration of payback period of an investment will be calculated precisely. The assessment includes financial records and cash flow report. Research method used in this study is descriptive both quantitative and qualitative using survey method and indepth interview. The research designed to capture the real condition regarding the analyzedobject based on valid data and factual circumstances. The collected data then analyzed and processed with the basic theory used in this research. This research was conducted in Tempe production center located on Jalan Ampera Tasikmalaya City. Based on the result from financial analysis, it can be stated that the business is feasible. Based on the result on sharia marketing analysis, it is found that the business is operated accordingly to sharia principles. However, the interview section found some problems regarding the financial management and marketing strategy which needed to be resolutely improved. The research results are expected to be considered as evaluation issue for the improvement and development of Tempe industry in Tasikmalaya City and eventually give some contribution for the economic growth in Tasikmalaya City.
Indonesia witnessed significant demographic and economic change over the past few decades. The share of women participating in formal employment continues to increase with improvement in women's access to formal education. These and other changes have influenced consumption patterns. This study investigates the effect of price, Halal labelling and product suitability to different skin types on decisions to purchase cosmetics among formally employed middle class women using female Muslim academicians as a case study. Primary data were gathered through questionnaires. Cronbach's Alpha was run to assess the reliability and validity of the study instrument. Findings show that price has no significant effect on purchasing decisions while Halal labelling and product suitability were found to significantly influence purchasing decisions.
Healthy homes are characterized by a healthy environment and accompanied by supporting facilities such as the availability of good air sources, besides that the behavior of residents in creating healthy homes is also one of the most important factors. Tanobato Village and Pasar Lama are the locations for the 2022 PKM held by pharmacy, Garut University. One of the flagship programs carried out by the PKM team is to provide education through socialization on how to create a healthy home in order to create a society that is physically and mentally healthy. The activity was preceded by a pre-test, material debriefing both directly and virtual counseling, and post-test to find out the extent to which residents' knowledge of the material provided was increased. The results of the counseling and survey showed that as many as 84 (73.3%) houses belonged to the category of decent houses in terms of physical conditions, a total of 74 (64.9%) houses based on basic sanitation including healthy house criteria, and 84 (73.3%) residents have the behavior to create a healthy home. Through this activity, awareness of the community's awareness to create a healthy home is getting higher.
Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is one of the significant roles in national economic development. It is seemly followed by the rise of employment absorbent and equity in income distribution. The capital constraint and the impedance of banking financial access have become the main problem to the Small and Medium entrepreneurs. The objectives of this research are to identify the main factors as problems of Small and Medium Enterprises in having access to the financial institutions, and also to find out the solutions of the research problems. This research uses qualitative approach i.e. Analytic Network Process (ANP). Through applying this method, it is expected to help the researchers in making measurement and synthesis of some factors regarding on the topic analyzed as well as finding the solution for problems faced by the SMEs. The resources of the data is derived from questionnaires and in-depth interview with experts, practitioners, SMEs and regulators which then analyzed by the structure and hierarchy into homogen clusters of the SMEs problems and solutions, measuring into ratio scale and building synthesis. As the result, it becomes clear what factors impeding the financial access of the SMEs to banks. The results of this research show that the difficulties of SMEs in accessing financial support in Islamic financial institutions are internal problems of Islamic banking i.e. lack of financial assistance given to the SMEs, the functions of Islamic banking as business partners for SMEs is not optimal. Whereas the external problems in the SMEs are the disability in meeting the financial requirements asked by Islamic banking that are collateral and business history. The internal solutions are Islamic banking must give business mentoring to SMEs that have received financial supports to minimalize the bad credits level. The external solution is the government must also socialize Islamic financial mechanism to SMEs as part of education efforts.
