The aims of this study was to analyze the differences in the exposition writing skills of cadets who taught with the think-pair-share technique and reading interest cadets. This study used an experimental method, in which the experimental group was given treatment with the think-pair-share technique, while the control group was taught without the think-pair-share technique. The two groups were further differentiated based on groups with high and low reading interest. The population in this study were cadets' level 1 in the first semester at the Cirebon Maritime Academy in the academic year of 2020/2021. The samples are cadets of Nautika 1 as the control class and cadets of Nautika 2 as the experimental class with 25 cadets each. Exposition writing ability data were collected through an exposition writing test while reading interest data were collected by filling out a reading interest questionnaire. The data analysis used was ANOVA with the help of the SPSS program.The conclusion in this study is that the exposition writing ability of cadets who have taught using the think-pairshare technique is better than cadets who taught without it. The exposition writing ability of cadets who have a high reading interest is better than cadets who have a low reading interest. There is an interaction between learning techniques and reading interest in influencing the ability to write exposition.
The banking world in Cirebon is increasingly developing, especially Islamic banks which have changed their name to BSI. Its development is not only domestic but also abroad in Indonesia. The greater the development of the banking world, the wider the network of the banking world, especially in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of discussion and ethics in the banking world. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, we try to test the methods of communication and service quality applied by Bank BSI Cirebon. The types of these methods are through the Laswell and ServQual Paradigm approaches. The results of the study show that 1) the form of communication language change that occurs throughout the process of transaction activities carried out by Bank BSI employees has gone well according to procedures and each employee has their own way or technique in taking attention and talking to customers, even though there are problems that occur. between the parties it does not become an obstacle in giving the best in overcoming it. 2) As for the ethics in the services provided, everything is already in the SOP that applies to BSI, both in terms of individual employees and existing facilities and infrastructure, they really provide the best service for comfort and very friendly, polite, and courteous treatment. and justice for customers. Abstrak Dunia perbankan di Cirebon semakin lama semakin berkembang terutama bank syariah yang berganti nama menjadi BSI. Perkembangannya pun tidak hanya di dalam negeri saja tetapi juga di luar negeri Indonesia. Semakin besar perkembangan dunia perbankan semakin luas jaringan dunia perbankan khususnya di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaaan bahasan dan etika dalam dunia perbankan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini mencoba untuk menguji metode tentang komunkasi dan kualitas layanan yang diterapkan oleh Bank BSI Cirebon .Adapun jenis dari metode tersebut yakni melalui pendekatan Paradigma Laswell dan ServQual. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) bentuk pengruah bahasa komunikasi yang terjadi sepanjang proses kegiatan transaksi yang dilakukan oleh para karyawan Bank BSI sudah berjalan dengan baik sesuai prosedur dan setiap karyawan memiliki cara atau teknik tersendiri dalam mengambil perhatian serta berbicara dengan nasabah, walaupun adanya masalah yang terjadi antara belah pihak itu tidak menjadi hambatan dalam memberikan yang terbaik dalam mengatasinya. 2) Adapaun etika dalam pelayanan yang diberikan semuanya sudah ada dalam SOP yang berlaku bagi pihak BSI, baik itu dari segi individu karyawan maupun sarana dan prasarana yang ada, mereka benar- benar memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik demi kenyamanan dan perlakuan yang sangat ramah, sopan, serta keadilan untuk nasabah.
