The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of indicators of fundamental Macroeconomics consisting of economic growth, interest rate, and exchange rate on FDI in five ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines). The research use two analysis method, they are descriptive and quantitative analysis by using Panel Data Regression method which Fixed Effect Model approach. The result of Panel Data Regression which Fixed Effect Model approachshowed that the effect of variables of economic growth and the exchange rate on positive and significant, while the effect of variable interest rate showed on positive significant.
AbstrakPembangunan daerah di wilayah tertinggal merupakan upaya mengembangkan potensi-potensi ekonomi sehingga mempunyai daya saing dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi ekonomi serta kinerja sektor ekonomi setiap wilayah tertinggal di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa data PDRB, dengan alat analisis Location Quotient dan Shift Share Esteban Marquillas, yang terdiri dari data times series selama periode 2009-2013, dengan menggunakan PDRB 9 sektor dan data cross section 4 kabupaten tertinggal di Jawa Timur. Hasil analisis Location Quotient sektor basis di Kabupaten Bondowoso (pertanian), Situbondo (pertanian dan perdagangan, hotel dan restoran), Sampang (pertanian, pertambangan dan penggalian), Bangkalan (pertanian, bangunan dan jasa-jasa). Hasil analisis Shift Share sektor kompetitif di Kabupaten Bondowoso (pertanian, pengolahan, listrik, gas dan air bersih dan bangunan), Situbondo (pertanian, industri pengolahan, listrik gas dan air bersih), Sampang (pertanian, industri pengolahan, perdagangan hotel dan restoran, keuangan persewaan dan jasa perusahaan dan jasa-jasa), Bangkalan (pertanian, industri pengolahan, perdagangan hotel dan restoran, keuangan, persewaan dan jasa perusahaan dan jasa-jasa). Dibutuhkan prioritas pembangunan, pengembangan perekonomian lokal, pemberdayaan masyarakat dan penciptaan lapangan kerja.Kata Kunci: Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, Sektor Basis, dan Keunggulan Kompetitif AbstractRegional development in disadvantaged areas in an effort to develop the economic potential so as to have competitiveness and boost economic growth. This study aimed to analyze the economic potential and economic performance of the sector in each region lagging East Java Province that could affect GRDP growth and could be a priority in the implementation of regional development. This study aims to analyze the business of organic rice farming in farmer groups and to analyze institutions, calculate the profits of organic rice farming, social capital and distribution channels of organic rice in farmer groups. The research was conducted for 2 months starting from April to May by means of interviews and direct observation to the research site. The data analysis technique used is the production cost approach to calculate the income of organic rice farming and the institutional role of the Tani Jaya II Cooperative for organic rice farmers in Rowosari Village, Sumberjambe District, Jember Regency. The results of this study indicate that organic rice farming is said to be efficient, social capital can support the sustainability of farming and distribution on organic rice farming is more profitable if it is sold to Koperasi Tani Jaya II because cooperatives can buy rice at a higher price than collectors and business partners of rice farming businesses. Organic rice in Jember Regency with the Jaya II farmer group has very good potential due to the high demand for organic rice from several companies.
Religious Tourism Development of Gus Dur Sanctuary in Jombang Regency: Community Based Tourism Approach Community based tourism is the concept of tourism development by involving the people or community in its activities and management. This study aims to determine priority factors that may affect community based tourism and development strategy of Gus Dur sanctuary religious tourism in Jombang Regency. The analytical method used in this case is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis. Based on the results of AHP analysis, it was found that the activity of the organization or society groups (0.382), increased cooperation government and society (0.269), the addition of facilities and infrastructure (0.182), and manufacture of regulation (0.167), factor activity of organizations/communities are considered most important in determining the priority development of religious tourism of Gus Dur sanctuary. The results SWOT analysis obtained, six development strategies, namely to involve the local community in tourism development and empowerment activities, to facilitate the development of business/industry through microcredits that can support people’s economy, to optimize the role of the government to increase the planned development targets, to facilitate development of home business/industry through courses and training institutions, improve cooperation with private sector to support tourism development, and improve cooperation between community and government or private sector in developing local economy.
The purpose of this study was to assess the value of non-oil export instability in Indonesia and to determine the dominant factor affecting the movement of the level of instability in Indonesia's non-oil exports. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the central bank and the relevant agencies. The analytical tool used in this research is the index of instability of exports to the data time series. The objects of this study are value, volume and price of non-oil exports in Indonesia 2007Q1-2015Q4 period. The results of this study is the movement of the value of non-oil exports in Indonesia are relatively stable or have a low level of instability and the dominant affecting factor is the volume of exports.
