The elderly and their caregivers are at higher risk from Coronavirus Disease-2019, particularly for elderly with chronic health conditions. To prevent the transmission of the virus, those elderly issued strict physical distance, restricting most interactions between the elderly and their caregivers. On the other side, caregivers can serve as crucial and trusted partners in the elderly’s care to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Hence, this study aims to analyze the knowledge, attitudes, practices (KAP), and the role of caregivers in providing services to the elderly during the outbreaks. A descriptive quantitative study was conducted from May to June 2020. The survey was utilizing Google Forms in four cities in Indonesia. A total of 317 out of 400 participants had completed the survey. The knowledge of the COVID-19 score was 79.50%, attitude 92.11%, and practice 90.54%. The caregivers’ role in protecting the elderly from COVID’s infection was about 98.42%. They could continue their routine activities during physical distancing 84.54%, treated elderly by not going to the hospital (60.04%), not visited any crowded place, wore masks and washed their hand after activity (87.38%). They agreed that government would finally successfully control COVID-19 (90.22%). This study concluded that the knowledge, attitude, practice and role of caregivers on COVID-19 effectively prevents the caregivers neglecting the elderly during the COVID-19 outbreak. Future information on elderly care need to consider not just the risks of the virus, but also the healthy lifestyle.
Keberhasilan dalam mencapai pengembangan intelektual pada anak sekolah tidak lepas dari peran orang tua dalam pendampingan belajar di masa covid -19. Pembelajaran daring, orang tua berperan dalam membimbing sikap dan keterampilan serta akademik siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan peran orang tua dalam metode daring terhadap prestasi anak di era pandemi covid-19 Siswa SDN Gedong 03 Pagi Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional dengan desain kuantitatif deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas 1-6 SDN Gedong 03 Pagi Jakarta Timur sebanyak 406 orang dan sampel sebanyak 80 orang, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan google form. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar prestasi anak baik (83,75%) dan sebagian besar peran orang tua baik (63,7%). Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan ada hubungan peran orang tua dalam metode daring dengan prestasi anak di era pandemi Covid-19 di SDN 03 Gedong Pagi Jakarta Timur (pvalue= 0,001). Simpulan: sebagian besar prestasi anak baik, saran: pihak sekolah perlu melakukan koordinasi dan sharing dengan orang tua (ayah dan ibu) untuk mempertahankan serta meningkatkan peran sertanya dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.Kata Kunci : Peran orang tua, prestasi anak, pandemic covid-19.
Kurang lebih 72 juta atau 26,4% masyarakat secara keseluruhan mengalami dampak buruk hipertensi dan terdapat kecenderungan penderita untuk tidak patuh minum obat, hal ini dikarenakan hipertensi merupakan penyakit seumur hidup, oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk menyadari dan memantau hipertensi untuk menurunkan risiko komplikasi seperti stroke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh SMS (Short Message Service) reminder terhadap perilaku kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat pada penderita hipertensi di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipayung Jakarta Timur. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian quasi experimental, teknik pengambilan sampel ini adalah dengan purposive sampel. Desain penelitian adalah two group pretest – posttest design dengan responden sebanyak 16 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Independent Sampel Test dengan hasil α=0,008. Hasil uji statistik ini menyatakan adanya pengaruh perilaku kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat pada penderita hipertensi saat sebelum dan setelah diberi SMS. sehingga SMS (Short Message Service) reminder terhadap perilaku kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat pada penderita hipertensi dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat pasien lainnya, dan Menjadikan sarana digital untuk menambah pengetahuan pasien tentang manfaat obat dengan rutin mengkonsumsinya, sehingga penderita hipertensi dapat menjaga tekanan darah dalam tubuh dan tidak terjadi komplikasi.Kata Kunci : Short Message Service, Kepatuhan Mengkonsumsi Obat, Hipertensi
Changes in human development at this time greatly affect lifestyles it is a cause of an increase in non- communicable diseases (PTM) one of which is hypertension. Hypertension control has been pursued by the government by implementing a chronic disease prevention program (PROLANIS) through collaboration with BPJS. This study aims to determine the difference in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who follow prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Pre-experimental research design with static group comparison research. The study population was primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and found 40 people. The collected data is tested statistically by T-test. The results of the study of primary hypertension patients who follow Prolanis have better blood pressure. Statistical test results showed there were differences in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis (p = 0,000, p <0.05). Nurses provide education to primary hypertension patients who have not yet joined the program to participate in the PROLANIS program.Keyword: Hypertension, Blood Pressure, PROLANIS
