This study aims to calculate the total economic value of lowland rice farming in Bogor Regency, and identify the factors that influence land conversion from agricultural to non-agricultural uses. By using the productivity method approach, CVM and benefit transfer, it can be seen that the total economic value of lowland rice farming in Bogor Regency, West Java is Rp. 119,480,139 / hectare / year. The new economic value is calculated based on functions as a food producer, as a function of absorbing labor, as a function of food security stability, and as a function of flood mitigation, not yet included as a function of erosion and sedimentation mitigation, as a function of air conditioning and freshener, as a function of carbon retarding, as a function of recycling organic waste, as well as a function of social culture and rural appeal. Then by using descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression, it is known that the conversion of paddy farming land in Bogor Regency, is influenced by internal factors, external factors, and government policies. Internal factors include: the geographical location of agricultural land, the area of agricultural land owned by farmers, the amount of farmers’ income, transformation of farmers’ economic structure, and farmers’ understanding of multifunctional agriculture. External factors include: population growth, urbanization, the macroeconomic situation, the ability of agricultural land, the value of land (land prices), the opportunity to buy land elsewhere which is cheaper, and the influence of the private sector. Government policy is the factor that is considered to have the greatest influence on the occurrence of agricultural land conversion in Bogor Regency, especially the problem of the implementation of government policies relating to rules regarding conversion of agricultural land that have not been implemented optimally.
The objective of this reseach were to: (1) analyze the level of autonomous of mikro and small entreprise (SMEs) entrepreneurs are empowered through Coorporate Social Responsibility (CSR); (2) analyze the dominant factors that influence autonomous of MSEs entrepreneurs are empowered through CSR; and (3) formulate an appropriate a strategy in developing autonomy of MSEs entrepreneurs through CSR. The reseach was conduct in the village built two companies running CSR in Bogor district involved 212 (SMEs) entrepreneurs which determined from population (450 SMEs entrepreneurs) by Solvin formula with level of error 5 % and drawn by cluster random sampling. Data collection was conducted from July to November 2013, and consisted the primary and secondary data. Data analysis was simulated by using structural equation model (SEM). The results showed that the degree of autonomous MSEs entrepreneurs is low, its core was 36.89 out of 100.00. There are three strategies that must be done to develop of autonomous MSEs entrepreneurs through CSR, such as; (a) an increase the empowerment sustainable of MSEs entrepereneurs (b) improve the quality of the environment supporting MSEs and (c) an increase in intensity of empowerment for MSEs entrepreneurs.
AbstrakDesa Rumpin, Cipinang, Sukasari, dan Mekasari adalah empat desa pertanian padi sawah. Pada keempat desa ini terdapat 13 kelompok tani difasilitasi oleh satu orang penyuluh namun memiliki dinamika yang bervariasi, yang ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan status perkembangan masing-masing kelompok tani tersebut, yang dikelompokkan menjadi kelas pemula dan kelas lanjut. Peneliti berusaha menjawab permasalahan ini melalui penelitian dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan dinamika Kelompok Tani Padi Sawah (Oryza sativa L.) Desa Sukasari, Kecamatan Rumpin, Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Oktober sampai November 2020. Populasi adalah kelompok tani lanjut dan pemula sebanyak 80 orang. Selanjutnya pengambilan sampel dari setiap kelompok tani dilakukan secara acak proposional. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini akan diidentifikasi secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dinamika kelompok Tani di Kecamatan Rumpin termasuk kategori rendah dan sedang. Dengan tingkat kedinamisan dalam kategori sedang dan rendah tersebut diharapkan anggota kelompok Tani Harapan Maju, Telaga Jaya, Rumpin Indah dan Aul Makmur dapat lebih memotivasi dan menggerakkan anggota kelompok dalam melaksanakan kegiatan kegiatan demi tercapainya tujuan kelompok, dan memahami unsur-unsur dinamika kelompok.AbstractRumpin, Cipinang, Sukasari, and Mekasari villages are four lowland rice farming villages. In these four villages, there are 13 farmer groups facilitated by one extension worker but have varying dynamics, which is indicated by the different development status of each farmer group, which is grouped into beginner and advanced classes. The researcher tries to answer this problem through research with the aim of identifying and describing the dynamics of the Padi Sawah Farmer Group (Oryza sativa L.) Sukasari Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency. The research was carried out from October to November 2020. The population was 80 advanced and novice farmer groups. Furthermore, sampling from each farmer group was carried out proportionally randomly. The data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The data obtained from the results of this study will be identified descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the dynamics of farmer groups in Rumpin sub-district were categorized as low and medium. With the level of dynamics in the medium and low categories, it is hoped that the members of the Harapan Maju, Telaga Jaya, Rumpin Indah, and Aul Makmur farmer groups can motivate and move group members in carrying out activities to achieve group goals and understand the elements of group dynamics.
Mangosteen fruit is a leading commodity from Barengkok Village, Leuwiliang sub-district, Bogor, as well as a commodity capable of penetrating exports. The environmental problem that arises during the harvest season and from fruit that does not pass export is the waste of its skin, so it is necessary to make use of it so that it has economic value for the community. This study examines a community partnership model through community empowerment in the use of mangosteen peel waste as a substitute for functional food. This study is based on the Women Farmers Group with a descriptive qualitative approach, demonstrations and training on the development of functional food processed products and assistance. The results of the study show that people's understanding and insights have increased from 50% who don't know to 100% of participants who know and understand how to use mangosteen peel into food processing, partners are able to independently produce processed products based on mangosteen peel flour with a turnover of 16 jars per month. Technological innovation in processing mangosteen peel into food, motivates people to become new entrepreneurs, because the product is unique and healthy and has a selling value. This partnership program provides solutions to address the environment and create additional income for the community.
The purpose of the study is to analyze individual characteristics of the entrepreneurs from household industries of local foods, the government policy support, entrepreneurial competence level as well as the determinant factors of the entrepreneurial competence of household industries of local foods in Bogor district’s, West Java . The study uses survey methods using descriptive statistical analysis and inference statistics to 231 home-based local food manufacturing industries in 14 sub-districts and 20 villages in Bogor. The results of this study indicate that the entrepreneurial competencies of household industries of local foods in Bogor district’s is low. The determinant factors of the entrepreneurial competence consist of formal education, motivation, and cosmopolitan mindset of the household industry entrepreneurs of local foods as well as the government policy support for the development of household industries of local foods. To increase the entrepreneurial competence of the entrepreneurs from household industries of local food, the entrepreneurs need to increase their non-formal education, motivation, and cosmopolitan mindset as well as the goverment policy support
