This study aims to improve communication skills of the seventh-year students in MTs. Annur Karangjunti Kabupaten Brebes Jawa Tengah. Their low communication skills shown by unpolite interaction with the teacher, hurt others’ feelings, and passive in the class. The sample were 35 students from 177 of population. This study used group guidance service and communication skills scale. The data analysis technique used t-test. According to the test results, there was an increase in the communication skills of the students, group 1 was 25,66%, group 2 was 21,5%, and group 3 was 28,54%. In conclusion, group guidance service can influence communication skills of the seventh-year students in MTs Annur Karangjunti Kabupaten Brebes Jawa Tengah.

BACKGROUND: Studies in psychology often discuss adolescents with their strong self-esteem as individuals who know themselves. Self-esteem development in adolescents. These adolescents begin to understand the changes of personality development starting from the cognitive aspect or thoughts, emotion, feeling, social, and physical aspects. AIM: This study consistently aimed at finding comprehensive evidence that positive parenting and friendship affect self-esteem in adolescents. METHODS: The population of this study was adolescents, namely 173 senior high school students consisting of 72 males and 100 females who were involved and participated in this study. The data analysis, in this study, was the 2 predictors for linear regression analysis. RESULTS: The results showed that parenting and friendship simultaneously influenced self-esteem formation in adolescents. Partially, the result of this study also showed that parenting affected self-esteem formation in adolescents. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, friendship showed a significant effect on self-esteem formation in adolescents. Thus, the hypotheses in this study were accepted.

This research aims at testing empirically correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students. Hypothesis of the research is that there is correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students.This qualitative study was population study with subjects as many as 80 higher achiever students. Data were collected using scales, parenting scale and anxiety scale. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation. The result of the study shows that there was significant correlation between parenting and anxiety on higher achiever students with rxy = 0.870 and (p<0.01) thus the hypothesis of this study was accepted.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara Konsep Diri dengan Pengambilan keputusan Karier pada Siswa SMP. Subjek Penelitian ini berjumlah 157 siswa Kelas IX SMP Mardisiswa 2 Semarang. Metode Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala yang terdiri dari Skala Konsep Diri dan Skala Pengambilan Keputusan Karier. Analisis Data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan positif Antara Konsep Diri dengan Pengambilan keputusan karier. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rxy = 0,869 (p=0,000) p&lt;0,05, maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.</p><p>Kata kunci : <em>Konsep Diri akademik, Pengambilan keputusan Karier</em></p>
