This study aims to test the results of mobile applications, namely social mobility and communication orientation models that can be used on android mobiles. This application is applied for problem-solving learning in understanding the concept of a campus environment for undergraduate visually impaired students majoring in special education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This research was conducted to measure the feasibility of a mobile application implemented through a questionnaire; then it was reviewed by a validation expert. Furthermore, performance test was conducted in order to be tested by the users. The application was deliberately created so that it can be operated via a cell phone. Based on the process of validity testing and practicality evaluation of the mobile application by the validator (electrical engineer) of all assessment items, the score obtained was 3.3 (good results). Meanwhile, the assessment to test application users as practitioners obtained a score of 3.2 (good results). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the social mobility orientation model and mobile application-based communication to solve the problem of understanding the campus environment concept in the Special Education Department of undergraduate students for visually impaired students proved its worthiness. Berbagai dampak psikologis di masyarakat akibat Covid-19 merupakan tantangan bagi para ahli psikologi untuk menerapkan teori ke dalam praktik-praktik terapi. Berbagai teori pendekatan terapi, strategi, teknik menyajikan berbagai asumsi kemanjurannya dalam mengatasi problema psikologis masyarakat sebagai akibat wabah ini.Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa: (a) Pandemi ini memicu gangguan emosional, perilaku, bahkan gangguan fisiologis. Permasalahan psikologis yang ditemukan dari analisis artikel antara lain: yaitu stres, kecemasan, gejala depresi, insomnia, kemarahan, ketakutan global, stigmatisasi, obsesif kompulsif, psikosomatis, serta bias kognitif. (b) Merujuk pada berbagai persoalan itu para penulis artikel ini menerapkan terapi-terapi yang meliputi: psikodinamika, terapi perilaku, terapi kognitif perilaku, terapi client centered, mindfulness therapy, terapi naratif. Sedangkan strategi ataupun teknik terapi yang ditemukan dari analisis artikel ini meliputi: asosiasi bebas, coping stress, disensitisasi, narasi, cognitive restructuring, serta modeling perilaku.
This study aims to determine the role of text to speech assistive technology on the reading ability of ADHD students in learning using e-learning. The ability of ADHD students who have impulsive and hyperactive behavior shows that students who are diagnosed will have difficulty focusing on one thing as a result of coordination functions and emotional responses that affect learning abilities, especially in reading. To improve reading skills, the use of assistive text to speech technology is needed by students during e-learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of text to speech assistive technology to improve the reading ability of ADHD students in reading spelling of words, with a clear voice and straightforward word emphasis. The method used in this study is Single Subject Research (SSR) using the ABA technique. Instruments to determine the level of reading ability of ADHD students are observation and documentation. The results showed that the role of text to speech assistive technology to improve reading skills in e-learning for ADHD students made progress in spelling words and with clear vowels and straightforward word emphasis. It can be concluded that the role of text to speech assistive technology to improve reading skills in e-learning for ADHD students is highly recommended to be applied in every e-learning lesson. The aim of this research is to produce prototype of blended learning model product for orthopedagogic of children with physical disability course in special education department. This development research used ADDEM design (Analyze, Design, Develop, Deliver, Evaluate, and Maintenance). In this research, the prototype product of blended learning model for orthopedagogic of children with physical disability course in special education department is classified into 2 ways, that is offline in the form of textbook product, and online in the form of e-material of service process of activities of dailly living (ADL), and children with physical disability auxiliary tools programmed through virtual learning. The prototype products are produced as an effort to facilitate lectures of undergraduate students majoring in special education.
