Mengajar adalah pekerjaan guru sehari-hari. Namun demikian, mengajar bagaimana siswa belajar, ternyata tidaklah mudah.
This class action research aims to enhance the learning outcomes of the 6th graders of SD Negeri 6 Mataram in their science lesson by corporating Science KIT in teaching and learning activities inside the classroom. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, each of which included 4 different steps, namely, Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. After the research, it is shown that the average learning outcomes and classical completeness for the first cycle are 84,7 and 84%, while the average learning outcomes and classical completeness for the second cycle are 88,4 and 94% respectively. This thus shows an improvement in the students’ learning outcomes, especially related to electrical and thermal energy. This conclusion is drawn after looking at the fact that 94% of the students score more than 75 in the test. This result is only obtained after the science KIT has already been applied in Science Lesson inside the classroom.
This study aims to examine whether the learning methods that have been used are appropriate to teach about natural disaster mitigation. Audio visual based learning method was being used to discuss learning materials about landslide and tsunami. The research subjects were students of State Primary School (SDN) 6 Mataram. Based on the F-test two-way variance with a significant level α = 5%, it is shown that Ho is accepted, which means that there is no difference in the cognitive achievement of landslide and tsunami teaching materials as the application of audio visual-based mitigation learning models in fifth grade students of State Primary School (SDN) 6 Mataram. It can be concluded that the use audio visual -based learning method for teaching disaster mitigation can be applied to elementary students.
The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The purpose of this study was to test the consistency and effectiveness of the instruction manual for determining the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle for students of SD 6 Mataram. To achieve this goal, tools and instructions for use were used in learning for the 111th-grade students of SDN 6 Mataram and divided into 3 classes. Because the research was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, the media was designed to be a learning video that describes the use of props, and their operational guidelines are narrated in the video. The video that contains the use of the tool is considered very in accordance with the instructions for use|| props. The results of the evaluation showed that there was no significant difference in the mean scores of the three pairs of classes (significance level 5% |t_h | < t_table = 2,0002). On the other hand, the completeness obtained by students in each class is >80% (KKM=70). This means that there is complete student learning about the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching aids for determining the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle and the instructions for use are consistently effective in helping students achieve complete learning on the material for the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
