Evaluation of Health Information System (HIS) aimed at ascertaining the efficient implementation of HIS that could result relevant and high-quality information to be used as a basis of making a decision by a decision maker. The result of HIS assessment was needed to improve the HIS performance. HIS of Central Java Province was a sub-system of National Health Information System (NHIS) in which the development of HIS there would strengthen the NHIS. The aim of this study was to evaluate HIS in Central Java Province in order to strengthen NHIS. This was a descriptive-evaluative study using quantitative-qualitative approach. Research subjects were 35 HIS officers at District Health Office (DHO) and six HIS officers at Central Java Province Health Office. Quantitative data were collected by filling a questionnaire whereas qualitative data were collected by conducting FGD and indepth interview. Data analysis was performed using a software of Province HIS evaluation that was modified from Assessment Tool HMN version 4.00. Modification of Assessment Tool HMN version 4.00 was performed by deleting questions that were irrelevant with HIS at province and adding questions based on government regulation number 46/2016 about HIS. The results of evaluation of seven components of HIS, four of these seven components indicated “available but inadequate”, namely components of management (54.7%), resource (54.2%), data source (58%), and data management (41.3%). In contrast, three of these seven components were “adequate”, namely components of indicator (74.3%), information product (71.3%), and dissemination and use of information (74.5%). To sum up, generally HIS of Central Java Province was categorised as “adequate”. To improve HIS management in Central Java Province, a standard of HIS management needs to be made as a reference to manage HIS in Central Java Province.
Pandemic that hit at least 223 countries and territories and global confirmed cases reached nearly 103,631,793 people and 2.17% of them died. Countries such as China, America, Europe, Belgium, Taiwan and Brunei Darussalam, have made various ways and efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, which can be taken as potential practices and lessons. This literature review aims to investigate best practices that can be learned in emergency response and handling of the COVID-19 pandemic from various global countries that can be taken as learning and common good. This study method is a literature review, by accessing several peer-reviewed literature articles between 2020 and 2021 related to emergency response and lessons learned of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Based on the literature review that has been analysed, practices and lessons learned in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic can be identified, including: extensive public health infrastructure, establishment of temporary hospitals, effective isolation methods, increased social distancing, surveillance systems with digital technology, community involvement, and lock-down as a last alternative to inhibit the spread, as well as a crisis management approach from an Islamic perspective. It can be concluded that emergency response in decision making and policy is a very influential factor in the success of controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dustira Cimahi. Kata Kunci: cryotherapy, nyeri luka episiotomi, post partum  ABSTRACT Introduction: Pain is the highest complaint felt by a patient with episiotomy injury causing a decrease in the mother's ability to perform bounding attachment to her baby. Safe and less side effect interventions that aimed to reduce pain of episiotomy wound become necessary. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of cryptherapy on the pain of episiotomy wound in first day postpartum patient in Room V / VI RS. Dustira Cimahi. Method: This research uses quasi experimental research method with approach of two groups pretest and posttest design. A total of 88 patients were selected as respondents who were divided into two groups using accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate statistic test (frequency distribution, percentage and mean of each variable), bivariate analysis (paired t test, independent t test), and multivariate analysis (ancova test). Results: This study indicates that there is a difference in the mean score of pain between before and after cryotherapy intervention in the intervention group (pretest 4.86 ± 0.930 and posttest 3.59 ± 0.844). There is different in pain score after the autogenic relaxation in control group (pretest 4.86 ± 0.930 and posttest 4.82 ± 1.040) yet the increament is not statistically significant. There was a significant difference in intervention group pain score with control group (p = 0,000). There is no significant influence (p> 0.005) of each respondent characteristic (age, anxiety score and previous episiotomy history) on the posttest pain scale of the intervention group. In general, the results of this study found no effect of cryotherapy on the level of episiotomy wound pain compared with autogenic relaxation. Discussion: It is advisable for postpartum patients with episiotomy pain to use cryotherapy from the first day of post partum, routinely done every other day (morning and afternoon) to accelerate the decrease of pain scale. Keywords: cryotherapy, episiotomy wound pain, post partum
Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) cases are still increasing, while the epidemiology data is still limited. This study’s purpose is to delineate characteristics of 31,407 COVID-19 patients in Central Java. This research involved secondary data acquired from the Health Office of Central Java, which was analysed univariately. The majority of the patients were 19-44-year-old (43.57%), females (50.81%), and private employees (10.53%). The most frequent symptoms were fever (18.85%), cough (18.19%), and shortness of breath (13.71%). Most of the cases were from Semarang City (17.2%), Kudus (6%), Jepara (6%), Demak (5.5%), and Kendal (4.3%), with an Incidence Rate (per 10,000) of 42.79; 14.53; 14.99; 14.90; and 13.84 respectively. Furthermore, most of the patients had no transit history (87.11%), while out of 25 of the foreign transit histories, the United States of America and China contributed 24% and 20%, sequentially. Three-fourths of the domestic transit history was in Central Java, whereas the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, South Sulawesi, and East Java shared 9.79%, 5.99%, and 3.08%. The most common transit history in Central Java was in Semarang City (19.28%) and Kudus (13.91%). In conclusion, the characteristics of COVID-19 cases were varied, and local transmission has occurred, which has spread to 35 cities/districts.
