Además, la evaluación es tomada como un medio que permite determinar las debilidades y fortalezas que posee tanto el docente como el estudiante.
El aprendizaje basado en problemas (ABP) ha resultado ser una estrategia didáctica implementada a nivel mundial en distintas modalidades escolares y niveles. En este estudio, se revisan estudios llevados a cabo a nivel internacional, nacional y local en relación al uso de esta estrategia en la educación matemática y en particular, en la formación de profesores de esta área del currículo escolar colombiano. Los resultados indican que el ABP mejora las prácticas de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas de manera consistente y que en base a la evidencia debería promoverse más su uso.
El presente artículo es producto de la investigación documental realizada en torno a los conceptos y enfoques en el desarrollo curricular por competencias en la educación superior, concretamente en los proyectos curriculares de formación de maestros. En este sentido, se destaca la formación por competencias desde un enfoque socioformativo como alternativa a las necesidades de formación en los programas de licenciaturas y que responde a la dinámica actual de desarrollo del conocimiento y competencias para la sociedad contemporánea. Los resultados permiten determinar al enfoque socioformativo como el enfoque prevalente ante las problemáticas sociales en la educación del siglo XXI con implicaciones locales, nacionales e internacionales y que desde sus premisas teóricas y metodológicas garantiza el despliegue de elementos fundamentales para el desarrollo curricular, las evidencias de aprendizaje y la definición de un currículo centrado en el estudiante en la educación superior.
Introducción: este artículo le presenta a los maestros de ciencias naturales una estrategia didáctica para ubicar a los estudiantes en el centro del proceso de aprendizaje de la física. Objetivo: fortalecer el Componente Entorno Físico a través del Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas (ABP), en los estudiantes del grado 9° de la I.E. la Ribera de Montería, Córdoba Colombia. Como objetivos específicos, diseñar una estrategia didáctica desde el APB, aplicarla, y analizar las apreciaciones de los estudiantes frente a ésta. Metodología: se empleó una metodología cualitativa con diseño descriptivo. Resultados: en el diseño de la estrategia se considera como clave, la construcción de la guía, por cuanto es ella, quien va a direccionar todo el escenario en el que se enmarca el ABP. En la aplicación del ABP se instala el enfoque Constructivista en donde el maestro actúa como el diseñador del escenario y el estudiante como constructor de su propio conocimiento, poniéndose en acción el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas, cognoscitivas, metacognitivas, y toda una plataforma axiológica. Con relación a las apreciaciones de los estudiantes frente a la estrategia aplicada, estos resaltan las bondades del APB desde cada uno de sus pasos; otorgándole un alto valor a la comprobación de las hipótesis y al trabajo en equipo. Conclusiones: se considera que el ABP permite la comprensión y aprendizaje de la física, gracias a la epistemología, didáctica, y otros elementos sustantivos de este método.
Esta investigación desarrolló como objetivo principal caracterizar la competencia de indagación en el aprendizaje del entorno físico en ambientes e-Learning a partir del diseño de una unidad didáctica en física en estudiantes de 5°. La cual fue ejecutada en tres fases y para lo cual se identificó en los estudiantes los niveles de las habilidades relacionadas con la competencia de indagación, se describieron las apreciaciones que tienen los docentes con respecto a la competencia de indagación y se diseñó una unidad didáctica basada en la metodología indagatoria y mediada por ambientes e-Learning, a fin de incluir dentro de los procesos del aula actividades que propicien la apropiación de esta competencia y la formación del pensamiento crítico. La metodología que se aplicó fue cualitativa, con enfoque de estudio de caso de tipo descriptivo, aplicada a 20 estudiantes de básica primaria, utilizando instrumentos como la rúbrica de evaluación IEPP, entrevista a 8 docentes del área y fichas bibliográficas. Así mismo, se utilizó el análisis de contenido, la triangulación y la revisión documental como técnicas de análisis de los datos. Los resultados permitieron identificar que el 45% de los estudiantes están ubicados en el nivel inferior de la competencia de indagación, lo que implica la necesidad de propiciar espacios de aprendizaje enfocados al fortalecimiento de esta competencia a partir de un aprendizaje basado en la metodología indagatoria y por medio de la unidad didáctica.
