The change of the educational paradigm in Russia leads to a need to revise not only the content of education, but also the role and the place of a teacher in the educational process, and determination of the level of professionalism of teachers. In modern conditions of modernization of education, together with the transition from "knowledge" approach to competence approach, the professional functions, and accordingly, the requirements to psychological and pedagogical competence of a teacher increase. In modern Russia new Federal Educational Standards (FES) are adopted in the field of General education. Thus, a number of questions and contradictions appear: the introduction of new educational standards should entail modification of the content and criteria of estimation of professional competence of teachers. The article presents the experience of the teaching staff of the Institute in the aspect of the training of future teachers and educational psychologists in Russia.
The authors of the article believe that it is important to study the deep essence of the writer’s works in order to understand the period of time that he depicts. D.I. Stakheyev contributed to the development of the genres of sketch and short story as he discussed new subjects and ideas through studying the life of the Russian province. In addition, the value of his works is that they touch upon a wide range of universal problems that are of great importance in our time. The article gives a broader idea of “small” forms of literary works in Russia in the mid-19th century. The interpretation of the images of the provincial merchants created by Stakheyev, the Russian writer of the second half of the 19 century, is of scientific interest to us. To understand the nature of provincial merchants Stakheyev goes his own way: he shows the essence of the merchant class through the problems of fathers and children, of crime and punishment, and of the “golden calf” influence on everyday life. The provincial town, marketplace, forest trade are elements depicting a long-established patriarchal world that is far from civilization and not affected by European style of life. The article was written to be used in the educational process. Studying the works of D.I. Stakheev within the framework of additional education, teachers and students of a modern school can discover pages of Russian literature, that were unknown for them, realize the moral problems that were faced by the previous generations.
The article presents the experience of testing of the module of master's basic professional educational program in the direction of training "Teacher of primary general education" under network interaction between university and school (professional master’s course). The necessity of content and form changing of future primary school teachers’ training in the aspect of practical orientation strengthening is defined. The need for network interaction between university and school is determined by new requirements to the level of master’s professional competencies’ development. Changes in the content, forms and methods of work with students in the aspect of the activity-competence approach implementation to their training are normatively substantiated. The routes of cooperation between a supervisor and a teacher to assess the level of labor actions’ development of undergraduates are settled. The results of the module testing are described; the main difficulties of undergraduates in application of activity-based technologies at practical tasks fulfillment are determined. Recommendations on the results of the module testing are presented
The article considers the influence of cognitive styles and individual features of perception and coding information on teaching geometry. Cognitive styles can determine success in learning, as they are manifested in the individual characteristics of the cognitive processes of students, their ways of perception, thinking, and action. Special attention is paid to the problems of connection of cognitive styles with interhemispheric brain asymmetry, level of intelligence, and motivation of a personality. The article underlines a very important for the learning process individual characteristic of a student. It is 'differentiation of the field', which means the influence of differences of the external environment on human decision-making. Differentiation of the field is described in terms of field dependence-field independence. Field dependence as a cognitive style means dominance of the whole, a lack of differentiation of parts in an image of perception, a disability to overcome the context, to select separate stimuli from the background. Field independence is an ability to resist the influence of conflicting background signs in the perception of visual forms and ties, an ability to perceive the whole, to allocate parts from complex figures, to choose stimuli from a context. In the conducted experimental research there were offered examples of tasks that allow to form cognitive 'flexibility' and overcome difficulties of students in analyzing geometric problems text. There were highlighted types of such tasks that were characterized by an educational effect. The conclusions from the experiment show that taking into account the parameters of cognitive styles with regular use of the system of developed tasks has a positive impact on the achievement of subject results in teaching students. The analysis of scientific and educational literature was carried out in order to make the understanding of the categories in this insufficiently researched area available to a wide range of school teachers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
