Community empowerment and education are closely related to advancing society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation and transformation of sustainable community empowerment based on Islamic boarding school system. This is due to the assumption that Islamic boarding school, as a sharia economic developer, gives several impacts on training entrepreneurship, independence of santri, and prosperity of the society. This research used a qualitative method with the phenomenological approach from Edmund Husserl. Phenomenology or transcendental phenomenology aims to find the existence of consciousness essence (intentionality) which consists of four awareness activities. The results of this study indicate that the community empowerment in Al-Ittifaw Islamic boarding school refers to environmental use. The school also adopts an experiential learning and learning by doing system. These systems accustomed the students to learn, maintain, and preserve nature. The agribusiness development of Al-Ittifaq Islamic Boarding School is based on INPEKBI (Divine, Domestic, Personal, Economic, Family, Passion, Ilmihi) principle. The conclusion of this paper is, several stages are needed in terms of raising awareness, habituation, and reinforcement to build the entrepreneurial spirit during the transformation of sustainable community empowerment based on Islamic boarding school system.
Purpose: This study aims to find out how to manage the entrepreneurial potential of the village with the method of building cross-stakeholder cooperation (penta helix), then to improve entrepreneurship skills in an effort to improve the welfare of rural communities.
Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework used is entrepreneurship theory, pentahelix theory and community learning center (PKBM).
Design/Methodology/Approach: This study uses a quantitative approach, namely research based on assumptions, then determined several variables through the right research instruments. The number of respondents was 30 PKBM students.
Findings: The results of the study show extraordinary results, meaning that the contributors have proven to benefit from this research, starting from the skill factor in mapping business capabilities, besides showing positive results, meaning that participants have proven to benefit from this research starting from the knowledge aspect of mapping business potential. , determination of marketing strategies, and business management techniques.
Research, Practical & Social implications: The practical implication is that the program has succeeded in increasing participants' knowledge of the penta helix principle, the use of various media to market products, and the flow of entrepreneurial capital. loans for MSME development.
Implications/Originality/Value: Furthermore, pentahelix-based entrepreneurial management has an impact on increasing the ability of entrepreneurship skills according to the entrepreneurial potential of the existing village, carried out systematically and sustainably, then managing appropriate marketing strategies, and business control techniques.
In the era of this global competition, everyone is expected to improve their competencies both in soft skill and hard skill. An excellent human resource does not only have proficiency in hard skill but also in soft skill to handle various challenges and changes of technology in the working world. This study aims at describing soft skill training as an attempt to improve the readiness of alumni in entering the working world. This study uses descriptive method by using qualitative approach. The research respondents are the students in the last year and alumni of Indonesia University of Education. The result of the study shows that the training is directed to the mastery on how to deal with the other people (interpersonal skill) and selfregulating skill (intrapersonal skill), thus the characteristic of a good and responsible working behavior will be achieved by the employees.
