Latar Belakang: Pada masa balita, masalah stunting dapat menjadi masalah yang fatal jika tidak diatasi dengan baik. Dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan dari masalah stunting yaitu gangguan metabolisme, menurunnya kekebalan tubuh, menurunnya kemampuan kognitif, gangguan pertumbuhan fisik, serta kualitas kerja yang tidak kompetitif. Status ASI eksklusif menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi prevalensi stunting karena nutrisi yang terkandung dalam ASI merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang menentukan masa tumbuh kembang anak.Tujuan: Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan status ASI eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting pada batita usia 24-36 bulan di Desa Watugajah Kabupaten Gunungkidul.Metode: jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasioanal yang bersifat kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 44 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan microtoise/pita meteran.Hasil: Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif pada penelitian ini mencapai 56,8% atau 25 anak, dan mayoritas anak pada penelitian ini cenderung tidak mengalami stunting. Anak yang mendapatkan ASI eksklusif cenderung tidak mengalami stunting sejumlah 23 anak (52,3%). Hasil uji chi square didapatkan nilai p = 0,000 (nilai p<0,05) dan nilai r = 0,609.Kesimpulan:  ada hubungan pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting pada batita usia 24-36 bulan di Desa Watugajah, Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Objective Structured Clinical Examintion (OSCE) merupakan salah satu metode penilaian kompetensi klinis. OSCE menimbulkan tekanan karena harus mengkolaborasikan skill dengan daya ingat yang kuat sehingga meningkatkan kecemasan yang akan berdampak pada perfoma mahasiswa. Salah satu bentuk strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi kecemasan adalah dengan aromaterapi jenis lavender yang mempunyai sifat menenangkan, merangsang tidur, efek anxyolitic (anti kecemasan), dan efek psikologis lainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas aromaterapi terhadap tingkat kecemasan menghadapi OSCE pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan pendekatan pre-post test with control design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 responden yang terdiri dari 16 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 16 responden sebagai kelompok intervensi (mendapat perlakuan aromaterapi lavender dengan cara inhalasi/menghirup aromaterapi yang telah diteteskan pada cutton bud). Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sample. Analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample Test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan terjadi penurunan kelompok intervensi sebelum pemberian aroma terapi 57,75 menjadi 51,31 dengan p = 0,001 < 0,05. Aromaterapi lavender efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan menghadapi OSCE pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Penurunan kecemasan terjadi karena salah satu kandungan lavender yaitu linalool yang mempunyai efek anxyolitic (anti kecemasan).

Dismenore adalah salah satu dari banyak gangguan menstruasi yang dialami wanita, rasa sakit terjadi sesaat sebelum menstruasi atau selama menstruasi dan dapat bertahan selama beberapa hari menstruasi. Rasa sakit dan kecemasan selama dismenore akan mempengaruhi gangguan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari para remaja. Tujuan dari penelitia ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara skor nyeri dan skor kecemasan dengan skor kualitas hidup pada remaja selama dismenore. Jenis penelitian ini adalah non-eksperimental dengan desain cross-sectional. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 118 siswi di SMP 1 Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel bersifat purposive. Uji analisis yang digunakan untuk melihat hubungan adalah uji korelasi pearson.Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah rata-rata skor kecemasan yang dialami oleh remaja dengan dismenorea di SMPN 1 Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta adalah 14.95. Sedangkan skor rata-rata nyeri yang dialami oleh remaja adalah 3.04 dan skor kualitas hidup rata-rata adalah 60.22. Analisis bivariat antara skor kecemasan variabel dengan kualitas hidup mendapatkan nilai p=0.041 dan antara skor nyeri dengan kualitas hidup mendapatkan nilai p=0.010. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat hubungan antara skor kecemasan dan skor nyeri dengan skor kualitas hidup pada remaja selama dismenore (p value  <0.05).

Background: Childcare problems will have an impact on growth and development. Currently there are many caregivers who do not understand how to take care of children. Many of them do not know the importance of playing and interacting with children yet. Therefore it is important to provide training to them.Objective: Studywas aimed to evaluate the effect of play training in caregiver on knowledge, affective, and skill of caregiver at LKMD Singosaren kindergarten Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta. Methods: Pre-experimental with one group pre and post-test design without control was applied in this study. Nineteen pairs of caregiver and preschool children were selected by using purposive sampling. Data was collected by using questionnaires and observation form. Then, data analysis was performing by dependent sample t test. Result: This study found that knowledge was increasing about 3,68 after the training is given to the respondents. The affective was increasing about 5 after the training is given to the respondents. The skill was increasing about 32 after the training is given to the respondents Comparative test between pre-test toward post-test I and II showed that p=0,000 (p value <0,05).Conclution: Providing the play training has found significantly affect on knowledge, affective, and skill of caregiver to provide better caring in preschool children.

Background: every parent wants a child who can grow and develop optimally according to its age category. One of the factors that can influence growth and development is the quality of sleep, due to 75% growth hormone produced when the baby sleeps. Sleep quality of babies can be stimulated through the act of giving massage baby. Objective: this study aims to determine the effect of infant massage on improvement the quality of sleep for infants aged 3-10 months in a village of Banguntapan Public Health Center II. Research method: this research is a pre-experiment research with an approach in one group (one-group pre-post test design without control). Data analysis used is the Wilcoxon test. This research was carried out in the Working Area Village Banguntapan II Health Center, with a population of 64 infants aged 3-10 months. Technique sampling using purposive sampling, which is the number of 15 babies aged 3-10 month. Providing education and demonstration of baby massage is done once, then massage done by parents of babies every day within 3 weeks, and observed by researchers every 2 days. Sleep quality was measured using the A Brief Screening Questionnaire For Infant Sleep Problems (BISQ). Results: Before being given massage the majority of the quality of bad baby sleep was 14 respondents (93.3%), then after being given massage for 3 weeks there was an increase in quality sleep where all babies have good sleep quality of 15 respondents (100%). Comparative test results infant massage between before and after massage is p value 0.000 (p value <0.005). Conclusion: there is the effect of infant massage on improving the quality of sleep for infants aged 3-10 months at Village of Bangutapan II Health Center.

Latar belakang: Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan kehidupan balita saat ini, stunting yang dialami oleh balita dapat berdampak buruk saat balita besar dan dewasa kelak. Dampak balita stunting dapat menurunkan kecerdasan sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di masa depan. BBLR diduga sebagai faktor resiko terjadinya stunting pada balita.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan BBLR dengan kejadian stunting pada balita usia 2-5 tahu di Desa Umbulrejo, Ponjong, Gunungkidul.Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan case control dengan metode analitik korelasional dan pendekatan retrospektif. sampel 32 kasus dan 32 kontrol dengan teknik purposive sampling, analisis data menggunakan chi square.Hasil: Hasi penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 27 (42,2 %) balita memiliki riwayat BBLR, dan balita yang mengalami stunting sebanyak 32 (100 %). Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukan  nilai p vallue <0,000 dan nilai OR 0,056. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara BBLR dengan kejadian stunting pada balita usia 2-5 tahun di Desa Umbulrejo.

Background: Stunting is still a children’s nutrition problem at this time. The percentage of cases of stunting children’s is increasing. Stunting can affect children in the long run, that is, disrupt health, education and productivity in the future. Maternal demographic factors are thought to be a factor that plays a role in the occurrence of stunting children.Purpose: provide an overview and discussion of stunting based on maternal demographic characteristics.Method: This research is a non-experimental research with an observational descriptive approach. Data was collected using a demographic characteristics questionnaire. The sample in this study was 90 stunting toddlers in the working area of the Pundong Community Health Center, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The sampling technique in this study uses simple random sampling. Data analysis uses percentage formulasResults: in stunting toddlers, the majority of maternal’s aged less than 30 years were 52 people (58%), the majority of maternal’s' education was low education (junior high school and elemtary school) which was 60 people (66%), the number of family members was more than 4 people were as many as 64 respondents (66.7%), the majority of mother who did not work were 52 people (57.8%), had incomes that were less than district minimum wage, which were 63 people (70%).Conclusion: there are several parental demographic factors that have a role in the occurrence of stunting under five, such as: maternal’s age, level of education, number of family members, employment status, and family income.

Hospitalization does not only cause anxiety of the children, but also of the parents. Parental responses to child hospitalization such as: anger, anxiety, insecurity, uncooperative, frustrated and stressful. One of effort to minimize parental stress is the implementation of atraumatic care by nurses. The objective of this study is to know the relationship between the implementation of atraumatic care by nurses with parental stress during the infant’s hospitalization in perinatology ward, Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The type of this study was non-experimental research, with a cross-sectional design. Purposive sampling Technique was used with total of 95 respondents, whose parents were hospitalized in the Perinatology ward of Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Data analysis used kendall tau. The results of this study indicated that there was a relationship between the application of atraumatic care by nurses with parental stress during the process of infant’s hospitalization in the Perinatology ward of Panembahan Senopati Hospital, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Kendall tau test results obtained correlation coefficient of 0.889 with p = 0.000 (p value < 0.05). The majority of the implementation of atraumatic care was in the good category, that was 43 respondents (45.2%) and the stress experienced by parents in the low stress category, that was 44 respondents (46.3%). The better implementation of atraumatic care, the lower the stress level of parents. The conclusion was There was a relationship between the implementation of atraumatic care by nurses with parental stress during infant’s hospitalization.
