The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is ubiqui-tous. Technologies like video games have become very popular not only with the young generation but also with older people. The video game indus-try has seen rapid growth over recent years, as has the interest in the influ-ence of video game experience on people’s daily life. The study focuses on a novel approach to training Visual Working Memory (VWM) through the use of video games and examines research evidence concerning whether video games can serve as a vehicle for promoting the development of cogni-tive skills and especially memory and attention.

<p class="0abstract">This article aims at considering the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in gifted education and highlight the best ICT techniques for gifted students. The use of ICT in special education and specifically in gifted education has proved effective. ICTs techniques can be used by teachers to make intervention to the gifted, which will be very useful for them as they could develop their abilities and skills. In this report we provide a brief review of the most representative articles for ICT techniques, which have been used for giftedness. Pupils who are gifted in ICT are also presented.</p>

Τhe purpose of this article is to investigate how metacognition supports giftedness in leadership. The concepts of metacognition, giftedness and leadership seem to be interrelated. The article attempts to explore new trends in understanding and development of giftedness. Research has shown that the concept of metacognition is inextricably linked to the concept of giftedness. Metacognition has an important role in the development of individuals, because it helps them to improve their cognitive and metacognitive skills. Metacognitive skills such as monitoring, self-regulation, awareness are higher skills that gifted individuals process to  a high degree and through training can improve them even further. Moreover, the metacognitive skills of monitoring and adaptation can affect leadership skills. The metacognitive skills that are associated with leadership are self-awareness, regulation and monitoring. Therefore, if leadership is based on consciousness and giftedness then we will have higher leadership skills.
