Buku ini merupakan buku ajar untuk mata kuliah Psikologi Sosial, yang merupakan mata kuliah wajib di Prodi Psikologi. Buku ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh dosen maupun mahasiswa yang mendalami bidang Psikologi Sosial, juga oleh peminat lain yang berasal dari disiplin ilmu di luar psikologi. Bahasa yang digunakan dalam buku ini disusun secara sederhana dan lugas sehingga mudah dibaca oleh siapapun yang membacanya. Secara berturut-turut buku ini membahas tentang pendahuluan (sejarah perkembangan psikologi sosial, pengertian psikologi sosial, ruang lingkup, dan kedudukan psikologi sosial), teori-teori dasar psikologi sosial, metode penelitian, diri sosial, persepsi sosial, kognisi sosial, sikap, serta daya tarik interpersonal dan hubungan erat.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran sense of community pada karyawan bagian administratif di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan bagian administrasi di UMSIDA yang berjumlah 51 orang, dengan teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Alat pengumpulan datanya menggunakan skala sense of community dengan mengadaptasi 24 item Sense of Community Index Version Two (SCI-2) yang mengacu pada teori sense of community yang dikemukakan oleh McMillan dan Chavis. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sense of community pada karyawan bagian administrasi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan jika dilihat dari dimensi yang ada, dimensi shared emotional connection memperoleh skor tertinggi dibandingkan dengan dimensi yang lain.Kata Kunci: sense of community, karyawan bagian administrasi
The entry of youth into the prisons would lead them to the loss of independence, difficulties in adapting, and lonely feeling, which ultimately affects the condition of psychological well-being. Here, psychological well-being is an essential condition to make teenagers, i.e., convicts, be able to defend their lives for serving a sentence. The study aims to provide an overview of the psychological well-being of juvenile prisoners and to investigate the factors that influence the formation of psychological well-being. In this case, the study employs an exploratory qualitative approach to the subject of two teenage inmates. The prison chosen is located in Class II A Sidoarjo. The data are obtained from interviewing technique and field notes. The results show that inmates have better psychological well-being than when they entered the prison early. The condition is proved at the subjects’ ability to adjust themselves to the environment, develop self-potential, accept themselves in a positive attitude, self-control and self-reliant, have a purpose to live and be able to establish positive relationships with others. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the formation of psychological well-being in inmates are social support, social interaction, and social skills while they are in a prison.
This research was conducted because there are still phenomena of employees who have a low level of satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal trust and job satisfaction at employees of PT. Garuda Mas Citra Cemerlang.. This research includes correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were 60 employees, all of which became the research sample. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling. The data collection technique in this study used 2 psychological scales, namely the interpersonal trust scale consisting of 40 items and the job satisfaction scale consisting of 50 items. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.302, a significance of 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis was accepted. The result of the determination coefficient test is 0.351 (Adjusted R Square) which shows that the interpersonal trust variable contributes 35.1% to job satisfaction.
