The civilization of human life is formed as not separated from human relations with the universe. Science has emerged through human relations with the universe. Human culture and tradition are also formed through human relationship with nature. Moreover, human religious imagination is formed through human relations with the universe. Briefly, humans live and develop themselves from and in the universe. In early time, humans interpreted themselves as part of universe and united with the universe that without it humans could not live. Yet, in line with the development of science and human civilization, the human perspective on the universe also changes. The universe tends to be seen as an object which can be exploited for the sake of human needs. Finally, environmental damage that also takes a lot of victims is a consequence of human behavior. The holistic and relational paradigm of the universe as well as philosophical and theological reflections offer to reinterpret the sacredness of the universe with the aim of improving human relations with the universe which tends to be anthropocentric. KEYWORDS: universe, ecology. ABSTRAK: Peradaban hidup manusia terbentuk tidak lepas dari relasi manusia dengan alam semesta. Ilmu pengetahuan bermunculan melalui relasi manusia dengan alam semesta. Kebudayaan dan adat-istiadat manusia juga terbentuk melalui relasinya dengan alam. Bahkan imajinasi religius manusia juga terbentuk melalui relasi manusia dengan alam semesta. Singkatnya, manusia hidup dan mengembangkan diri dari dan di dalam alam semesta. Sejak awal manusia memaknai dirinya sebagai bagian dari alam semesta dan bersatu dengan alam semesta yang tanpanya manusia tidak bisa hidup. Akan tetapi dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan peradaban manusia, cara pandang manusia terhadap alam semesta turut berubah. Alam semesta cenderung dipandang sebagai objek yang dapat begitu saja dieksploitasi demi kebutuhan manusia. Akhirnya kerusakan lingkungan hidup yang juga memakan banyak korban menjadi konsekuensi atas perilaku manusia. Paradigma holistik dan relasional terhadap alam semesta serta refleksi filosofis dan teologis hendak memberikan tawaran untuk kembali memaknai sakralitas alam semesta dengan tujuan memperbaiki relasi manusia dengan alam semesta yang cenderung bersifat antroposentris. Kata-kata Kunci: alam semesta, lingkungan hidup, eksploitasi, dominasi, paradigma holistik, refleksi filosofis, refleksi teologis, etika ekosentris.
Salah satu ancaman serius dalam peradaban millennium ketiga ini adalah kecenderungan agama-agama yang hanya berorientasi pada paradigma rumusan-rumusan doktrinal konseptual yang sempit. Ironisnya, agama-agama yang harusnya menyebarkan perdamaian justru menjadi potensi sumber konflik. Situasi tersebut memunculkan keterpisahan antara manusia dengan manusia lainnya bahkan dengan yang ilahi. Akan tetapi evolusi peradaban masih menyadari ada banyak hal yang penting dalam tradisi spiritual agama-agama untuk membangun peradaban. Di sini agama-agama perlu meredefinisikan kembali eksistensinya dalam peradaban, memperluas horizon paradigma model religius-spiritualitas dalam konteks yang beragam dan berorientasi pada pertumbuhan kesadaran akan kesatuan realitas yang universal saling terkait satu sama lain.
ABSTRACT Preservation of the environment with the concept of conservation is one part of the science of ecology. Land use in the riparian area or watershed area is one of the conservation areas needed to fulfill the environmental sustainability of water areas. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the conservation pond program carried out in the Cikapundung watershed, Kampoeng Tjibarani. By collecting data through observation, interviews, and studies of policy literature governing the management and development of project development in watersheds. Based on data collection and analysis of descriptive data that has been carried out, it was found that there were several factors for the failure of this program (1) non-functional land use, (2) unsustainable program and management (3) did not meet the standards and criteria for development policies on regional land River flow . With restoration using the ecopark concept, conservation ponds can be a new breakthrough for management and development of watershed land in accordance with land functional and standards and criteria for management and development of watershed land. Keywords: watershed; preservation of the environment; ecopark ABSTRAK Pelestarian lingkungan dengan konsep konservasi termasuk salah satu bagian dari ilmu ekologi. Pemanfaatan lahan di kawasan sempadan sungai atau Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) termasuk salah satu konservasi yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kelestarian lingkungan kawasan air. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi program kolam konservasi yang dilakukan di kawasan sempadan sungai Cikapundung, Kampoeng Tjibarani. Dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur kebijakan yang mengatur pengelolaan dan pembangunan pembangunan proyek di DAS. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data dan analisis data deskriptif yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa ada beberapa faktor kegagalan program ini (1) pemanfaatan lahan yang tidak fungsional, (2) program dan pengelolaan yang tidak berkelanjutan, dan (3) tidak memenuhi standar dan kriteria kebijakan pembangunan di lahan DAS. Dengan pemugaran yang menggunakan konsep ecopark, kolam konservasi dapat menjadi terobosan baru untuk pengelolaan dan pengembangan lahan DAS sesuai dengan fungsional lahan dan standar serta kriteria pengelolaan dan pengembangan lahan DAS. Since the existence of human culture, religion is also exist in its variety. Religion has become the mode of existence for human being.Basically, religion is the place which gives space for humans to communicate and meet with the ultimate reality. In the development of human culture, religion is experiencing a growing change in its form and content. Earlier, religion was a relationship between human and the ultimate reality; and over the time, it then turned into an institution that has systematized and conceptualized doctrines in dogmatic form. The purpose of religion also shifted from efforts to be closer with the ultimate reality into attempts to increase followers. It seems that religion is concerned with the quantity than the quality. The shift likely leads to a conflict and violence in many people.This becomes the responsibility for all religions in Indonesia. This paper wants to explain the truth of supposed religion and look for the positive influence of all religions in Indonesia in an attempt to build Indonesia becoming a nation which is able to thrive in religious pluralism.
