Palavras--chave: Fatores Humanos, Design Social, Politicas Públicas Culturais. Abstract: This paper presents general concepts for the theoretical background on human factors applied to the design, especially at the political level and their interrelationships. Thus, also addressing issues relating to Cultural Public Policies and its historical contextualization front insert design in this field. Thus, this paper aims to reflect on the role of design(er) in the discussion, formulation and implementation of cultural policies that consider their relationship with the design.
