This paper specifically examines the role of teacher as a facilitator, assumed to be one of the factors influencing the effectiveness of student learning. Data that were collected through survey method using close-ended questionnaires and documents of student learning outcomes of 136 students at one state vocational high school in Bandung as respondents were analyzed with simple regression. The results of data analysis show that the role of teacher as a facilitator had an influence on the effectiveness of student learning. This research is expected to contribute to the field of education research some considerations of the role of teacher as a facilitator as one of the factors influencing the effectiveness of student learning.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang diduga menjadi salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana dimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban tertutup dan nilai hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 136 orang siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Kota Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai fasilitator mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengkajian pendidikan untuk dapat mempertimbangkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator sebagai salah satu faktor pengaruh efektivitas belajar siswa.
Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan sosial media Whatsapp pengaruhnya terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Analis Kimia YKPI Bogor. Peneliti mengidentifikasi masalah penelitian terkait penggunaan sosial media watshapp pengaruhya terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kajian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya peserta didik yang mempunyai sosial media whatsapp yang terinstal dalam smartphone dan selalu membawanya kemanapun mereka pergi termasuk di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan sosial media whatsapp terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan survey, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dari jumlah populasi 320 peserta didik. Sampel yang dijadikan objek penelitian sebanyak 57 orang dengan teknik random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin. Unit analisis adalah peserta didik Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Dari hasil penelitian teridentifikasi bahwa penggunaan sosial media whatsapp berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Terdapat korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y bertanda positif dengan memperhatikan besarnya rXY yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,921. Kemudian pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh nilai rtabel sebesar 0,266 dan pada taraf signifikan 1% diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,345 ternyata rxy yang besarnya 0,921 adalah jauh lebih tinggi daripada rtabel yang besarnya 0,266 dan 0,345. Nilai R Square (R2) sebesar 0,848 menunjukkan peningkatan disiplin belajar dapat dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan sosial media whatsapp sebesar 84,8% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh hal-hal lain diluar persamaan ini. Nilai t hitung sebesar 17,53 jika dikonsultasikan dengan ttabel α (0,05) dan α (0,01) dengan n = 57 mendekati nilai puluhan 60 diperoleh ttabel sebesar 1,671 dan 2,000. Diketahui thitung > ttabel yaitu: 17,53 > 1,671 dan 2,000 maka H0 ditolak. Ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel X terhadap variabel Y. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, penulis merekomendasikan kepada pihak pengelola sekolah beserta dewan guru untuk berupaya meminimalisir penyalah gunaan sosial media whatsapp di kalangan peserta didik khususnya di lingkungan sekolah dan selalu berupaya menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang kondusif sehingga penyelenggaraan program pendidikan di sekolah terwujudkan secara efektif sesuai visi dan misinya. Kepada para orang tua juga disarankan untuk membatasi sekaligus mengawasi anak-anaknya dalam menggunakan media sosial agar dapat meminimalisir penyalah-gunaannya. Problems of organizational citizenship behavior among academics, especially lecturers, are something relevant in the study of the quality of an organization. The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in organizational citizenship behavior based on Islamic work ethics, organizational satisfaction and commitment. By collecting data from 365 lecturers from 14 private universities as sample in the city of Bandung, the sampling was taken with proportional random sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques were conducted by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS. The results of this study revealed the positive effect of Islamic work ethics on organizational citizenship behavior and on organizational commitment, positive but not significant effect of Islamic work ethics on job satisfaction. Islamic work ethic has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Moreover, the findings showed that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. However, job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on organizational commitment. In practice, this study encourages private university management to improve work ethics and job satisfaction of lecturers, which in turn can influence organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment of lecturers.Extra performance behavior or better known as organizational citizenship behavior is a series of work that is voluntarily performed by an employee in an organization where the employee's behavior exceeds the basic work requirements that have been determined or exceeds the work standards set in the organization (Carmeli & Josman, 2006). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap semangat kerja guru sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode penelitian menggunakan survei eksplanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala 1 sampai dengan 5 model skala likert. Responden sebanyak 32 guru sekolah menengah kejuruan. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara iklim sekolah terhadap semangat kerja guru. The development of students in mastering the skills of the 21st century is certainly inseparable from the role of educators in understanding the various skills and the use of digital technology associated with it, supported by knowledge management process and knowledge sharing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the knowledge management process and knowledge sharing on teacher literacy skills at State Vocational High Schools (VHSs) in West Java. To collect data, a questionnaire was used. This research used a quantitative approach through descriptive and verification research. Based on the characteristics of the variables, a survey using a 7-point Likert scale questionnaire was conducted. This research was purposely administered to 162 teachers from 54 VHSs at 27 cities/regencies in West Java. The Partial Least Square Structural Path-Modeling (PLS-PM) was used to test the hypotheses. The research outcomes revealed that the knowledge management processes and knowledge sharing have a positive effect on teacher literacy skills. Information literacy is important for building literacy skills, but achievement is relatively low. The teacher needs to align these skills with more appropriate directions so that teachers’ literacy skills in the learning process can be more effective.
