One of the factors that effect the productivity of honey bees is the factor of temperature and humidity of the nest or stup where the bees live. A nest or stup with a maintened temperature and humidity will provide the bee comfort for live. This study discusses the effect of stup size design on the productivity honey bee of Trigona sp. This study used a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 3 stup design, namely: Horizontal, Vertical and Medium. Each design size consists of 4 replications, and each replication consists of 2 stup. Data were analyzed using by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's test at 95% confidence level. The parameters observed were number of egg cells and pollen, weight pollen, number of honey pots and volume of honey. The results of the analysis showed that production of the medium design for number of egg cells, pollen, weight pollen, number of honey pots and the volume of honey of Trigona sp was significantly higher than vertical and horizontal design. The conclusion of this study showed that the medium stup is better used in farming system of Trigona sp.
This research aims to know the influence of long-term and short-term world gold price, the price of crude oil to the world, and the index of industrial production against the stock index at the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the period January to December 2015-2015. The object of this research is the stock index at the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Types of data used are secondary data. This research method using technical analysis with quantitative method of Error Correction Mechanism (ECM). The results showed that significant influence world gold prices in the long term and the short term against a stock index of JII. While the price of crude oil the world significant negative effect on the long run, and a significant positive effect on the short term. The index of industrial production turned out to be only a significant effect in the long term, but not in the short term.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tumbuh yang berasal dari pakan berbeda yang ditambahkan ampas tahu terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi larva dan survival rate dari pupa. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan 9 ulangan dan masing-masing ditumbuhkan larva sebanyak 100 g (umur 45 hari). Adapun perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah perlakuan A= dedak padi 500 g + ampas tahu 800 g; perlakuan B= jagung giling halus 500 g + ampas tahu 800 g; perlakuan C= pakan komplit 500 g + ampas tahu 800 g. Variabel yang diamati yaitu konsumsi pakan, panjang badan, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), konversi pakan, dan survival rate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi pakan, panjang badan, pertambahan bobot badan secara statistik berbeda secara nyata (P<0,05) dengan perlakuan C memiliki nilai tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Konversi pakan berbeda secara nyata (P<0,05) dengan perlakuan A memiliki nilai konversi terendah. Survival rate secara statistik berbeda secara nyata (P<0,05) dengan bahwa perlakuan B memiliki nilai tertinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan media pakan komplit + ampas tahu adalah yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan larva. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments 9 replications and each of them grew as many as 100 g (age 45 days). The treatment conducted treatment A (rice bran 500 g + tofu waste 800 g); treatment B (fine corn 500 g + tofu waste 800 g); and treatment C ( complete feed 500 g + tofu waste 800 g). The variables observed were, feed consumption, body length, body weight gain, feed conversion, and survival rate. The variables observed were, feed consumption, body length, body weight gain, feed conversion, and survival rate. The results of this study was showed that feed consumption, body length, body weight gain were statistically significantly different (P <0.05) with treatment C had the highest value compared to other treatments. Feed conversion was significantly different (P <0.05) with treatment A had the lowest conversion value. The survival rate was statistically significantly different (P <0.05) with that treatment B had the highest value. The conclusion of this study is that the use of complete feed media + tofu waste is the best for the growth and development of larvae. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini difokuskan sebagai media diseminasi teknologi tepat guna pengolahan hasil-hasil ternak berbasis pada potensi lokal. Aktivitas pengabdian terkait diseminasi teknologi tepat guna relevan untuk dilaksanakan sebagai media penyebaran suatu teknologi tertentu agar dapat diadopsi oleh masyarakat sehingga keberadaannya memberikan manfaat optimal sesuai dengan permasalahan sasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mengambil lokasi di Desa Pandan Wangi Kecamatan Jerowaru yang dikenal sebagai salah satu desa lokasi pemeliharaan kerbau namun hasil-hasil ternaknya belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam mengatasi persoalan gizi keluarga terutama pencegahan stunting. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan pada peternak perempuan dan anggota Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) tentang tata cara pengolahan susu kerbau menggunakan getah biduri dikombinasikan dengan Bakteri Asan Laktat (BAL) untuk pembuatan keju lunak, adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan (in class) dan praktik langsung pembuatan ‘keju lunak’ denga memanfaatkan getah biduri dan bakteri asam laktat (BAL) sebagaimana metode dikembangkan oleh Wulandani (2003). Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan para peternak dan ibu ibu PKK dalam mempelajari dan memahami arti penting penggunaan dosis getah biduri yang tepat dan arti penting penambahan probiotik, yaitu BAL dalam proses pembuatan keju lunak.
The research aimed to determine the use of Hermetia Illucens maggot in feed on the production of laying hens. 80 laying hens aged 6 months were grouped into 4 treatment groups,5 replicates, each replication consisted of 4 tails. The feed provided consisted of 50% corn+20.47% rice bran+29.52% layer concentrate (P0), 45% corn+27% rice bran+23% layer concentrate+5% maggot (PI), 45% yellow corn +27.73% rice bran+17.27% layer concentrate+10% maggot (PII), 40% corn+34.33% rice bran+10.67% layer concentrate+15% maggot ( PIII).. The data obtained were analyzed by a completely randomized design. The results of the study average daily egg production for each treatment were 61.97% (P0), 73.57% (PI), 64.10% (PII) and 59.65% (PIII). The average egg weight was 55.35g/egg/head (P0), 556.47g/egg/head (PI), 55.75 g/egg/head (PII) and 55.84g/egg/head (PIII). Feed consumption was 110.23 g/head/day (P0), 112.21g/head/day (PI), 111.75g/head/day (PII) and 103.55g/head/day. Feed conversion was 3.45 (P0)., 2.81 (PI), 3.20 (PII) and 3.21 (PIII). Egg protein was 12.17% (P0), 12.98% (P1), 13.83% (PII), 14.53% (PIII). Egg cholesterol was 149.25mg/dl (P0), 153.75mg/dl (P1), 181.25mg/dl (P2) and 175.00mg/dl (P3). Beconcluded that the use of Hermetia Illucens maggot 5%, 10%, 15% in feed has not significant effect (P>0.05). on the egg production, egg weight, consumption and feed conversion and significant effect (P< 0.05) on the protein and colesterol of laying hens.
