Bei der Kondensation der P-chlorierten Ketone mit Benzol bei Gegenwart von Aluminiumchlorid tritt das Phenyl, wie fniher gezeigt wurdel), nicht am Platze des entweichenden Chlors, sondern in eine von der Carbonyl-Gruppe moglichst weit entfernte Stellung ein. Es findet offenbar eine Wanderung des Chloratoms statt, welche vielleicht durch die AbstoBung der beiden negativen Atome, Sauerstoff und Chlor, verursacht wird. Bei der ahnlichen Kondensation der a. P-ungesattigten Sauren, wie Cyclohexen-carbonsame, Cyclohexenyl-essigsaure und Cyclohexyl-acrylsaure z, lagert sich das Phenyl ebenfalls nicht einfach an die Doppelbindung an, sondern es nimmt eine vom Sauerstoff moglichst weit entfernte Stellung ein, was wohl darin seine Ursache hat, daB intermediar durch Anlagerung von Chlonvasserstoff eine P-halogenierte Saure entsteht , welche eine ahnliche Isomerisierung erleidet wie die chlorierten Ketone.Die aliphatischen ungesattigten Sauren verhalten sich wie die cyclischen, mit dem Unterschied, da13 hier das Phenyl nicht in die endstandige Methylgruppe, sondern in die ihr benachbarte CH,-Gruppe eintritt. So liefert die a. P-Hexensaure bei der Kondensation rnit Benzol in Gegenwart von Muminiumchlorid, die 6-Phenyl-capronsaure, und zwar in vollkommen einheitlichem Zustand :
