Politics and Sufism, Two things that would never meet, There is a subjective view that the decline of Islam is due to the Sufis distancing themselves from the social and political activity. Historical facts prove that the Sufis who come to the archipelago have taught the real Islam and comprehensive in both the social, economic and political fields. This review will present historical evidence of the Sufi political tradition in the Indonesian archipelago and West Kalimantan in particular through the study of the third most popular ulamas of West Kalimantan in the 19th and 20th centuries namely AhmadKhatib al-Sambasi (1802-1879), Muhammad Basuni bin Muhammad `Imran (1885-1953) dan Guru Haji Isma’il Mundu (1870 – 1957).
Abstract:Basuni Muhammad Imran was an Indonesian reformer who live in Sambas, West Kalimantan, it has brought this area to reach the peak of science and modernity. The main patterns of Muhammad Basuni Imran thought is traditionalism, inclusivism and flexible in medium but strong in thaw a bit. This study revealed substantial contributions of Muhammad Basuni Imran in Islamic legal thought especially in purposes in Islamic laws (maqasid shari'a) and Islamic politic (siyasah shariah), through the implementation of the concept tadarruj, Maslahah mursalah, al-Tahaluf al-Siyasi, and local wisdom of jurisprudence in adopting the opinion of the validity prayers Friday at least 40 people.
Radikalisme dunia pendidikan sering menjadi sorotan yang cukup tajam, pendidikan yang seharusnya mencetak manusia-manusia cerdas dan berkarakter berubah menjadi pabrik yang memproduksi benih-benih sikap terorisme. Kenyataan sebagian hasil survei yang menggambarkan simpati kalangan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi atas tindak kekerasan yang mengatasnamakan agama adalah realita yang harus menjadi bahan evaluasi diri. Nilai-nilai moderasi yang menjadi watak dasar setiap agama adalah sarana yang efektif, efesien untuk menangkal fenomena ini. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi dan wawancara dalam pengumpulan datanya, untuk melihat rool model penerapan pendidikan karakter (pendikar) yang terintegrasi dalam mata kuliah pendidikan agama di Universitas Tanjungpura melalui SK Rektor UNTAN No 1540/UN22/DT/2012. Penelitian ini telah menemukan bahwa integrasi pendikar dalam mata kuliah agama melalui pendekatan moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action dalam pembelajarannya cukup efektif memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran secara langsung (Experiential Learning) dalam penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi yang meliputi sikap toleransi, eksklusif, kooperatif dan demokratis.
The discussion about best practices in shaping character for the millennial generation about Pancasila values and Muslim family education is an exciting topic to be discussed in various contexts and content. To discuss this issue, we have conducted a series of searches for supporting data and additional information electronically on literature sources in the form of field study findings that actively discuss best practices in shaping the character of the young Muslim generation concerning Pancasila education and the habits of Muslim families in Indonesia. We cannot use this data to answer questions with high times. After a summary of the data and an in-depth discussion of the relationship between the two variables, the researcher can finally conclude that there are some best practices in shaping the character of the millennial generation, in this case, looking for a correlation between Pancasila education and Indonesian family education to form a young age that follows the character Islamic nation and religion. Thus, it is hoped that these findings will add to the wealth of knowledge and perspectives of family religious education and are also in line with Pancasila education as Muslim Indonesian citizens.
