The tourism industry has the characteristic interdependence : (1) Hospitality Industry (Food and Baverage, and accommodation); (2) Travel (Retail and Wholeseller; The operator); (3) Visitor Services (Attraction; Event; and Tourism Agencies). Therefore, to build a strong tourism industry needed a strong organisational relationships. Power and dependence is an important basic building cooperation between organizations. One of the cities in Indonesia that are prominent in tourism is Kota Batu. Kota Batu is the icon of tourism in East Java. Even in the year 2006-2007, the industry of tourism in Kota Batu had dropped shraply because of overflow of Lapindo mud. In 2012, the total tourists visiting the Kota Batu reached 1,603,441 visitors. In 2013 increased 1,881,446 and 2,089,022 tourists in 2014. That number rises quickly compared in 2007, when the condition of the Kota Batu dropped as the number of tourist visits less than 1 million people. Now, in 2016, The government of Kota Batu target revenue of Rp 1 trillion, where 80% is derived from the tourism sector. Therefore, in the study will be analized how the government power in developing the tourism industry in Kota Batu. The technical analysis of this research uses a combination of analysis statistics and policy analysis. The analysis unit of this study is the tourism industry in Kota Batu. This research population are the stakeholders in the tourism industry : tourism entrepreneur and community. Based on the statistics analysis, the aspect of power has significant influence towards the development of the tourism industry. This shows the importance of the government role in developing the tourism industry.
Perkembangan ekonomi suatu negara dapat diukur dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan produksi barang dan jasa di suatu wilayah perekonomian dalam rentang waktu tertentu. Produksi tersebut diukur dalam konsep nilai tambah (value added) yang diciptakan oleh sektor-sektor ekonomi di wilayah bersangkutan yang secara total dikenal sebagai Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB). Dengan demikian, PDB dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu indikator untuk mengukur kinerja perekonomian suatu negara atau sebagai cerminan keberhasilan suatu pemerintahan dalam menggerakan sektor-sektor ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel yang terdiri dari jumlah uang beredar dan tingkat inflasi dan PDB serta menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh dominan diantara jumlah uang beredar dan tingkat inflasi terhadap PDB. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguatkan hasil penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji F, dan uji T. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa tingkat inflasi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap PDB langsung di Indonesia, tetapi jumlah uang beredar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap PDB langsung di Indonesia dengan α = 5%.
Selorejo Village, Blitar Regency is a village where some of the residents produce Opak Gambir snacks which are still managed using traditional methods. This causes the management in the production to be less professional and less organized. This program aims to improve education and training, especially in the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, and marketing, so that the management of this home industry will be more organized and professional. The method of implementing the program is by providing education, training, and coaching for producers. The results of the program show that the producer is very well educated about the principles of entrepreneurship. Opak Gambir producers are also able to make financial plans both for administration and also the selling price of their products. The producer is also able to determine marketing plans, which include starting from the process of determining prices, determining distribution locations, and how the promotion process is carried out. Through this community service, it is hoped that the producer will be able to manage their business in a professional manner, apart from being a source of income, is also a destination for the Opak Gambir industry.
The objectives of this study are: 1) to find out how the impact of the POKMAS program on village community empowerment; and 2) to find out what are the factors that hamper the effectiveness of POKMAS in an effort to realize the empowerment of rural communities. Based on the combination of Cluster Analysis and Root Cause Anaysis methods, the POKMAS program has proven to have implications for the empowerment of rural communities as indicated through three things, namely: 1) an increase in income especially the poor; 2) the community is able to arrange village development planning and implementation; and 3) the community is able to take responsibility. However, the implementation of the program still leaves four problems, namely: 1) the limited amount of grant funds is adjusted to the needs of the village; 2) low participation of the poor and women; 3) the interests of individuals or small groups are still more dominant; and 4) limited administrative capacity. Overall, the POKMAS program has proven to have achieved village independence so it is important to hand over development to the village. This finding can be a proliferation of empowerment models that are based on the transfer of village authority.
Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang kajian terhadap implementasi kurikulum dan genre-based approach terhadap pendidikan karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan kepustakaan (library research), bahwa studi pustaka atau kepustakaan dapat diartikan sebagai serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan alokasi jam pelajaran untuk bahasa Inggris tidaklah selaras dengan jumlah kompetensi dasar yang harus peserta didik kuasai, sehingga berpengaruh pada tingkat kecakapan akademis dan tingkat kecakapan karakter individu. Hal ini berdasarkan sensus statistik dari kemendikbud dan survey yang dilakukan. Jawaban dari permasalahan pertama dan kedua adalah dengan cara mengembalikan alokasi jam mengajar sebanyak 4 JP/minggu. Dengan hal ini dapat mewujudkan tahapan dalam proses mentransfer ilmu bahasa Inggris diperlukan alokasi waktu yang sama seperti halnya mata pelajaran wajib lainnya yang di ujikan secara nasional. Dengan menghilangkan beberapa tahapan dalam mengajar, maka dapat dipastikan terjadinya ketidaksinergisan antara proses akademis dan proses pendidikan karakter. Singkatnya, bagaimana bisa pendidikan karakter ditanamkan apabila guru berkecenderungan mengefektifkan proses mengajarnya dengan cara menghilangkan satu atau beberapa tahapan dari proses kegiatan belajar mengajar karena alokasi waktu yang diberikan hanya 2 JP/minggu.
