Motivation becomes a very important aspect in various activities carried out by everyone, including students while studying in college. Many works of literature and publications have revealed the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes at the school level with traditional methods and this study tries to explore the topic again by using the Guided Discovery Learning (GDL) method which is different from traditional/classical learning methods. To find out differences in achieving learning outcomes through the method are based on the level of achievement motivation of students at the college level of physical education program. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a sample of 38 college students, and the learning process is 12 offline face-to-face meetings. The level of students’ motivation was measured using a motivational questionnaire consisting of 38 questions regarding achievement motivation, and students’ cognitive abilities were measured using three lecture material tests conducted at the beginning, middle, and end of the class term. The results of the study were processed quantitatively using statistical software to see the descriptive and inferential analysis in concluding the significance of the difference between low and high-motivated samples in their achievements in sports nutrition lectures. This study reveals a significant difference in the achievement of the sample after going through GDL learning based on the level of motivation. The results of the Student T-test and Wilcoxon’s statistical difference test on the Low-Motivated (LM) sample showed an insignificant difference on the 1–2 test, and a significant difference in the achievement of tests 2–3 and 1–3 at the level of α.05. The High-Motivated (HM) sample showed the consistency of significant changes in each test carried out (1–2, 2–3, and 1–3) at the level of α.05.
This study aimed to determine the effect of using an aluminum pipe modification tool on students' javelin-throwing abilities. This research design uses Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive. The sample in the study was students of class IPA 4 who were divided into two groups (experimental group and control group), with 18 students in each group. The experimental group was given treatment using aluminum pipe modification tools, while the control group was not assigned treatment and aluminum pipe modification tools. Data collection techniques used include a pre-test and post-test. It was analyzed using an independent t-test. From the results of the t-test calculation, the results of Sig. of 0.000 where if Sig. <0.05, then there is a significant difference. Then the results of the t-test obtained tcount of 4.127 where if tcount 4.127 > ttable 2.021 (df 34), then it is declared a significant difference. In conclusion, the use of a modified aluminum pipe has an increasing and significant effect on the javelin-throwing ability of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Setu, Bekasi Regency. This study aims to determine student interest in learning at SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with a survey method and research design using cross-sectional. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang, totaling 155 students. At the same time, the sample was taken in one class using a purposive sampling technique, obtained in class XI TKR 1 with as many as 40 students as the class that will be given a questionnaire about students' interest in learning. The data is processed using Microsoft Excel Software. The results of this study indicate that the level of student interest in learning basketball shows a percentage of learning interest of as much as 43% with suitable criteria. So, it can be concluded that the level of student interest in learning basketball can increase if the teacher can present the material well and pleasantly and provide teaching through games so that students do not feel bored when learning takes place.
The motivation behind this research is to examine how much influence the online mobile legend game has on the mental health of students at SMPN 1 Kota Baru. This study uses a quantitative methodology with ex-post facto research techniques. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Kota Baru on May 20 to June 6 2022. The population was all Grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Kota Baru, totaling 427 people. The population in this study was taken using the snowball sampling method, consisting of 30 individuals consisting of 21 men and 9 women. The instrument uses a mobile legend online game questionnaire and a mental health questionnaire. The examination method used in this exploration is a linear regression equation. The consequences of this study show the extent to which sig. <0.05 and a guarantee coefficient of 0.000 which indicates that the effect of playing mobile legend online games on the mental health of students at SMPN 1 Kota Baru is 90.8% while 9.2% is influenced by different variables. The conditions set are = 4,923 + 1,000 X, so that the mental health of students will decrease as the strength of playing online mobile legend games increases by 1,000.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metode latihan drill terhadap keterampilan dasar chest pass pada olahraga permainan bola basket. Untuk menjawab rumusan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Sukatani dengan jenis penelitian Purposive Sampling populasi yang diambil adalah siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola basket dengan jumlah dari populasi 1.144 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 38 siswa putra dan putri. Desain penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah model one group pretest -posttest. Hasil penelitian diperoleh menggunakan uji normalitas dengan hasil yang didapat pada pretest sebesar 0,024 > 0,05 dan posttest sebesar 0,033 > 0,5 dari hasil penelitian menunjukan data berdistribusi normal serta melalui perhitungan uji homogenitas yang menunjukan nilai sig sig 0,055 > dari 0,05 bahwa data hasil pretest-posttest menyatakan data berdistribusi homogen dan perhitungan uji-t yang didapatkan nilai sig. (two-tilled) 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Didapatkan simpulan dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat dinyatakan adanya pengaruh metode latihan drill terhadap keterampilan dasar chest pass pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 1 Sukatani.
