Realizing the vision of sustainable cities in Indonesia is a necessity. The Indonesian government continues to encourage all parties making various approaches to solving the urban problems to create a livable city in 2045. The TOD is widely recognized by researchers as one of the most feasible and comprehensive sustainable planning approaches. In Indonesia, only Jakarta has begun implementing TOD since 2017. This study aims to obtain respondents' perceptions (government, business actors, and experts) to assess the alignment of the Jakarta TOD Model compared with the key success factor of TOD best practice, also in line with the principles of urban transportation sustainable development. This analysis is quantitative descriptive for hypothesis testing uses non-parametric statistical tests: Independent and Bayesian One-Sample T-Test. The results of the analysis show us that the Jakarta TOD Application Model is not in line yet with the principles of urban and transportation sustainable development. This is caused by several factors of Bayes interpretation. Refers to the result of variable Large Bayes effect analysis (based on Cohen's value d), its need to be rearrangement some regulations and/or policies by considering: an institutional improvement, integrated planning, definition of TOD, partnership patterns, development strategy, sustainable and inclusive development goals.
Cargo Terminal which has 70 units space is holding control of freight passing through the city center and as a place of loading and unloading of goods vehicles which do not have a warehouse. However, the activity of loading and unloading of goods is still widely practiced in the right of way which causes traffic jams. This triggers the Denpasar government to develop Terminal Kargo Denpasar so as to supply the demand for parking and loading and unloading activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the parking and future parking needs in developing Terminal Kargo Denpasar . The method used to obtain data through direct surveys such as inventory survey and survey cordon parking and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies. The analysis shows the volume of parking of vehicles is 44,5 vehicles / hour, parking capacity is 36 vehicles / hour, parking supply as much as 372 vehicles and 4 for Parking Index that indicates there has been a problem of parking in the Terminal Cargo Denpasar. It is show Terminal Kargo Denpasar has been unable to supply activity goods vehicles. The amount of the parking requirements for development of Terminal Kargo based on parking characteristic analysis are 101 spaces.
Road safety stakeholders in Bali have highlighted the need to investigate and better understand road user behavior as a means of reducing the high number of crashes in the goods and freight distribution sector. This study aims to analyze the relationship between driver behavior and traffic crashes reported by drivers transporting goods and freight in Denpasar, Bali. A driving safety survey was distributed to 350 goods and freight transport drivers to obtain a range of demographic information, self-reported crash and offence data, and psychosocial data associated with driving safety. Analysis identified four areas of concern with distinctions between different driving practices within the sample, consisting of aggressive driving behavior, driving errors, traffic code violations and normlessness. The results of this study demonstrate that normlessness consisting of behaviors such as taking a slight risk when overtaking and ignoring speed limits were the most common forms of unsafe behavior reported by the goods vehicle transport drivers. The study found that speeding influenced more self-reported driving errors, aggressive behaviors, traffic rule violations and crashes. In addition, drink driving was found to be positively related to traffic crashes. The implications of these results are discussed.
