Chili pepper is one of national leading commodities and has a high economic value. One of the factors causing the balance is unplanned and uncoordinated pattern of production and cropping pattern between each district of chili pepper production center resulting the fluctuative income. These research was quantitative research, data collection was done by means of a survey of time series. The data used are time series data and supporting data which come from: Information center of price at production center, and price information at West Java Food Crop Agriculture Agency. From the amount of data (included observation) which amounted to 72 data. The technic analyzed used multivariate. The rational expectation hypothesis of the supply function was analyzed by the EVIEWS 8 program The analysis results of planting system was the selection of monoculture plant system will increase the harvested area 31,4462 hectares, analysis results showed more farmers planted red curly chili pepper in monoculture system, but the red curly chili pepper in Cikajang has performed off season planting system, it means that the farmers cultivated red curly chili most of the year.
AbstrakBeberapa indikator empirik yang sering digunakan dalam pengkajian efisiensi pemasaran di antaranya adalah margin pemasaran dan transmisi harga dari pasar konsumen kepada petani atau ke pasar produsen. Adapun transmisi harga yang rendah mencerminkan inefisiensi pemasaran karena hal itu menunjukkan bahwa perubahan harga yang terjadi di tingkat konsumen tidak seluruhnya diteruskan kepada petani, dengan kata lain transmisi harga berlangsung secara tidak sempurna. Pola transmisi harga seperti ini biasanya terjadi jika pedagang memiliki kekuatan monopsoni sehingga mereka dapat mengendalikan harga beli dari petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting dengan analisis harga komoditas, data yang digunakan adalah data time series harian harga cabai merah keriting selama setahun pada tahun 2014 yang bersumber dari Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Jawa Barat dan analisis menggunakan program Eviews 8. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting bisa dilakukan dengan analisis harga komoditas pertanian hal ini bisa menunjukkan sebagai indikator kesehatan pasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi tertinggi berada antara PI Caringin dan PI Gedebage persentase perubahannya 99 %, artinya perubahan harga yang terjadi di PI Caringin di transmisikan secara sempurna ke PI Gedebage. Pembentukan harga dapat dilihat juga dengan analisis integrasi pasar, analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pasar mana yang dominan dalam pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kenaikan harga cabai merah keriting 1 rupiah di sentra produksi Cikajang akan menaikkan harga cabai merah keriting sebesar 0.77 rupiah (perubahan 77 %) di PI Kramat Jati, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PI Kramat jati dominan pembentuk harga cabai merah keriting.
This study aims to analyze the exchange rate of farmers and the factors that influence it in West Java province in 2008 – 2020. The variables studied were land area, rice productivity, fertilizer cost and seed cost. The research method used is the study of literature by examining secondary data published nationally and regionally from various valid and credible sources derived from the Central Statistics Agency, the Department of food crops and Horticulture of West Java Province, the Ministry of Agriculture and others. The study was conducted in the period between November 2021 and March 2022. Data processing is done using Least Squares analysis with the help of E-Views 9 Software. The results showed that the exchange rate of farmers of food crops in West Java Province in the period from 2008 to 2020 was influenced simultaneously by land area, rice productivity, fertilizer cost and seed cost. But partially, the variable land area does not significantly affect the exchange rate of food crop farmers. Variable rice productivity, fertilizer costs and seed costs partially significantly affect the exchange rate of farmers of food crops in West Java.
This study aims to determine and study "Institutional Farmers, Socio-economic and Technological Adoption of the Success of Java Preanger Arabica Coffee Farming (Survey of Coffee Farmers in Rancakalong District, Sumedang Regency)". Descriptive Analysis research method, with the research variables consisting of two independent variables namely, farmer institutions and farmers' socio-economic, and two Bound Variables namely Application of technology and success of coffee farming. The study population numbered 110, with a sample of 86 people, simple random sampling. / Simple random sampling, every subject in the population has the same chance of being selected as a sample. Main Hypothesis Testing Results indicate that farmer institutions, farmer socio-economics and application of technology Influence the success of coffee farming, the results of the Hypothesis Sub-tests are; (1) farmer institution influences the success of coffee farming in Rancakalong District, Sumedang Regency, (2) farmer socioeconomic influences on the success of coffee farming in Rancakalong District Sumedang Regency and the application of technology influences the success of coffee farming in Rancakalong District Sumedang Regency, (3) There is The relationship between farmer institutions and socio-economics in Rancakalong District, Sumedang Regency. Farmer institutionalization, farmer socio-economic condition and simultaneous application of technology have a positive effect on the success of coffee farming in Rancakalong Subdistrict, but when compared to the influence of all variables, the Farmer Institution has a smaller effect. While the cause of the influence of X2 is higher than X1, because the dynamics of farmer groups are common everywhere and at any time and are usually more directly related to how to improve farming yields so that the interaction is stronger. Considering the various limitations in this study, it needs to be followed up more broadly and deeply, so that it can provide more comprehensive benefits and look at other factors that influence the success of coffee farming.
AbstrakCabai merah merupakan salah satu komoditas yang memiliki fluktuasi harga yang cukup besar. Fluktuasi harga cabai merah dapat disebabkan oleh besarnya jumlah penawaran dan besarnya jumlah permintaan. Semakin tinggi jumlah penawaran maka harga akan rendah, sedangkan semakin sedikitnya jumlah penawaran harga akan semakin meningkat (ceteris paribus). Harga cabai merah yang sangat fluktuatif menjadikan komoditas ini sulit untuk dapat diprediksi (Murhalis , 2007) . Berdasar sifat dan masalahnya rancangan penelitian ini termasuk deskriptip yaitu untuk mengetahui tinjauan harga caba merah keriting dan disertai statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui fluktuasi/stabilitas harga cabai merah keriting di sentra produksi dan pasar induk . Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series harga cabai merah pada sentra produksi cabai merah keriting Cikajang Kabupaten Garut dan Pasar Induk Kramat Jati, dengan menggunakan data harga cabai merah keriting harian pada tahun 2014 . Data yang digunakan bersumber dari Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Jawa Barat dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program EVIEWS 8. Fluktuasi harga cabai merah kertiitng di ke 2 tempat mengalami fluktuasi harga yang tinggi dari jenis sayuran lainnya. Cabai merah merupakan komoditas yang mengalami fluktuasi harga setiap waktu. Dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun perkembangan harga cabai merah di 2 tempat mengalami fluktuasi dengan rentang yang berbeda. Harga di pasar induk lebih berfluktuasi dari sentra produksi . Hal ini berdasar hasil analisis standar deviasi sentra produksi Cikajang (15165,64) dan Pasar Induk Kramat Jati (18302,01). Ketidakstabilan harga tersebut dikarenakan di pasar mekanisme pasar tidak bekerja, distribusi antar pelaku pasar tidak adil hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pasar cabai merah tidak efisien atau tidak sehat. Pasar tidak sehat ditunjukkan dengan harga terlalu murah akan merugikan produsen, dan harga terlalu mahal merugikan konsumen, hal ini terjadi akibat perubahan penawaran dan permintaan yang menimbulkan fluktuasi harga sehingga fluktuasi harga secara ekonomi akan menyulitkan prediksi bisnis.Kata kunci: fluktuasi harga, sentra produksi, pasar induk PENDAHULUAN 1
